PERANCANGAN FASILITAS BANTU SS LINK UNTUK MENENTUKAN TITIK KOORDINAT PENYANDANG TUNA NETRA BERBASIS GPS TRACKING DAN SMS GATEWAY

Tunanetra memiliki masalah mobilitas dan sulit mengenali fasilitas umum, sehingga mempunyai risiko besar untuk tersesat. Untuk menghadapi masalah tersebut, dibutuhkan sebuah instrumen elektronis yang mampu memberikan informasi keberadaan penyandang tuna netra guna membantu mereka meminimalisasi risiko tersebut. Instrumen dilengkapi dengan sensor GPS dan modul SMS gateway yang dapat memberikan informasi sebuah koordinat kepada anggota famili. Titik koordinat yang dideteksi sensor GPS dikirim menuju smartphone melalui modul SMS. Dengan menekan salah satu tombol pada instrumen, secara otomatis alat akan mereka titik koordinat GPS dan mengirimkan datanya ke smartphone melalui SMS kemudian penerima SMS hanya perlu mencari titik koordinat yang diterima melalui aplikasi Google Maps.

The blind people have some problem about mobilities and difficult to recognize public facilities, so they have a great risk about getting lost. To face those problem, need an electronic instrument which able to give information about the existence of blind persons to help them minimize the risk. The instrument equipped with GPS sensors and SMS gateway module that can be able for providing information of a coordinate to family members. The coordinate points which has detected by the GPS sensor are sent to the smartphone through SMS module. By pressing one of the buttons on the instrument, the tool will automatically record the GPS coordinate point and send its data to the smartphone by SMS then the SMS recipient only needs to find the received coordinate point through the Google Maps application.
