PERHITUNGAN PREMI ASURANSI PERTANIAN BERBASIS INDEK CURAH HUJAN DENGAN COPULA VINE

Pada tesis ini dibahas penggunaan copula Vine berdimensi d=3 yang untuk mengukur dependensi antara pasangan variabel harga gabah, luas hasil panen, dan indek standar curah hujan untuk menentukan nilai premi asuransi pertanian. Dependensi pada struktur D-Vine pada T_1 lebih baik dijelaskan menggunakan copula Archimedean dari pada copula Elliptical. Dependensi terbaik untuk variabel harga gabah dan luas hasil panen adalah copula Joe dengan parameter theta=1.76, korelasi kendall=0.3, sedangkan dependensi terbaik antara indek standar curah hujan dan luas hasil panen adalah copula Frank dengan parameter theta=4.98 dan korelasi kendall=0.46. Hasil simulasi data menjelaskan bahwa semakin rendah nilai CHS_t terhadap nilai CHS_Alfa maka nilai indeminitas yang diperoleh semakin tinggi. Nilai CHS_alfa yang lebih rendah akan menghasilkan nilai premi yang lebih rendah. Nilai premi dari asuransi berbasis indek curah hujan memberikan opsi premi yang lebih luas dari pada asuransi pertanian biasa

This thesis discusses the use of Vine Copula for d=3, to measure dependencies between variables of yield price, the area of crop yield, and standard index of rainfall for calculating crop insurance premium. The dependence on the D-Vine structure on T_1 is better explained using the Archimedean copula than the Elliptical copula. The best dependence for yield price and area of crop yield is Joe copula with theta 1.76 and Kendall=0.3, while the best dependence for the area of crop yield and standard rainfall index is Frank copula with theta=4.98 and Kendall=0.46. The simulation data for calculation of insurance premium shows that the lower of CHS_t the higher the indemnity given. The lower value of CHS_alfa will give a lower premium. Insurance premium of crop insurance based on rainfall index will give various options of premium rather than common crop insurance
