Dekonstruksi Novel Maryam Karya Okky Madasari

Penelitian terhadap novel Maryam karya Okky Madasari ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan untuk mengamati wacana tekstual pengarang yang seakan-akan menyuarakan kaum tertindas sekaligus menjadi mediator yang menjembatani konflik antara Ahmadiyah dengan Islam. Hal ini menimbulkan permasalahan yaitu bagaimana hubungan Ahmadiyah dengan Islam itu dikonstruksikan dan bagaimana teks membangun dan merobohkan dirinya sendiri. Kedua permasalahan itu dijawab dengan menggunakan teori dan metode dekonstruksi. Teori dan metode dekonstruksi itu melihat oposisi dan hierarki kemudian melihat struktur operasionalnya sehingga teks mendekonstruksi dirinya sendiri. Dengan teori dan metode dekonstruksi, wacana tekstual pengarang dapat ditemukan, ditentukan, kemudian dihancurkan oleh elemen-elemen yang turut membangunnya sehingga pada gilirannya menghancurkan konsep besar yang membayangi teks. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Maryam berisi konstruksi hubungan Ahmadiyah dengan Islam. Hubungan Ahmadiyah dengan Islam terpusat pada yang lahir dengan yang batin. Setiap konflik dan permasalahan di antara Ahmadiyah dengan Islam disebabkan oleh lahir. Maka, dalam hal ini selalu ada upaya untuk menyatukan dan mendamaikan dua pihak yang saling menolak ini dengan melibatkan batin. Upaya tersebut diwujudkan pengarang melalui konsep tempat ketiga, iman ketiga, dan cinta. Konsep-konsep tersebut dinilai memiliki sifat yang universal dan netral. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa upaya penyatuan itu mengalami penundaan. Penyatuan itu tidak dapat benar-benar hadir. Pemisahan mengikuti penyatuan, bertindak sebagai jejak-jejak masa lalu yang tidak menemukan penyelesaian. Pada akhirnya, penyatuan tidak dapat lepas dari bayang-bayang pemisahan. Pengarang mencoba melampaui kedua perspektif yang menghasilkan oposisi dan hierarki itu. Ia berusaha menyatukan Ahmadiyah dengan Islam. menawarkan konsep tempat ketiga, iman ketiga, dan cinta. Ketiga konsep tersebut merupakan perspektif ketiga, perspektif pengarang. Perspektif ketiga ini menyatukan kedua perspektif dengan berusaha melampauinya. Novel Maryam pada akhirnya berhasil melampaui hierarki dan oposisi dari Ahmadiyah dan Islam, namun ia justru membangun oposisi dan hierarki baru dengan memunculkan perspektif baru. Pada akhirnya novel Maryam tidak bisa lepas dari jalinan hierarki.

Research on the novel Maryam by Okky Madasari is motivated by the desire to observe the textual discourse of the author who seemed to voice the oppressed as well as a mediator who bridged the conflict between Ahmadiyah with Islam. This raises the problem of how the Ahmadiyah relationship with Islam is constructed and how the text builds and breaks down itself. Both problems were answered by using the theory and method of deconstruction. The theory and method of deconstruction see opposition and hierarchy then see its operational structure so that the text deconstructs itself. With the theory and method of deconstruction, the textual discourse of the author can be found, determined, then destroyed by the elements that helped build it, in turn destroying the great concept that shadows the text. In this study it was found that Maryam contained the construction of Ahmadiyah relations with Islam. Ahmadiyah relations with Islam are centered on those born with the inner. Every conflict and problem between Ahmadiyah and Islam is caused by birth. So, in this case there is always an effort to unite and reconcile the two parties who reject each other by involving the mind. The effort is manifested through the concept of third place, third faith, and love. The concepts are judged to have a universal and neutral nature. The results of this study show that efforts to unite have been delayed. The union can not really be present. Separation following union, acting as traces of the past that did not find a solution. Ultimately, union can not escape the shadow of separation. The author tries to go beyond the two perspectives that result in the opposition and the hierarchy. He seeks to unite Ahmadiyah with Islam. Offering third place concepts, third faith, and love. The three concepts are the third perspective, the author's perspective. This third perspective unifies both perspectives by trying to transcend them. Maryam's novel has finally surpassed the hierarchy and opposition of Ahmadiyah and Islam, but instead it builds on new oppositions and hierarchies by generating new perspectives. In the end Maryam's novel can not escape from the fabric of hierarchy.
