KENDALI PLC PADA SISTEM TRACEABILITY KOMPONEN CRANKSHAFT DAN ENGINE BLOCK DI PT ASTRA DAIHATSU MOTOR-ENGINE PLANT

Dunia industri berkembang pesat seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi sehingga perusahaan dituntut untuk berproduksi secara cepat, efisien dan berkualitas tinggi. Selain itu perusahaan juga harus mematuhi peraturan pemerintah. Untuk itu PT Astra Daihatsu Motor-Engine Plant membuat sistem traceability yang digunakan untuk melacak dan mencatat data produksi setiap hari. Sistem traceability ini digunakan untuk melacak dan mencatat nomor engine dan crankshaft. Sistem traceability ini menggunakan teknologi barcode scanner. Pada prinsipnya, terdapat dua aspek penting dalam implementasi sistem traceability, yaitu tracking dan tracing. Tracking merupakan metode penelusuran suatu produk pada tahap pasca produksi (downstream information), sedangkan tracing merupakan cara menelusuri riwayat asal suatu produk upstream information. Sistem tersebut akan dikendalikan dengan menggunakan Progammable Logic Control (PLC). Untuk menghubungkan antara scanner dengan komponen pada PLC menggunakan teknologi komunikasi ethernet. Data hasil scanning dengan format csv file yang disimpan pada memory card.

World of industry develop very fast along with the development of technology, it means companies should produce their product quickly, efficient, and have high quality. Moreover, companies should obey the regulation from the government too. Therefore, PT Astra Daihatsu Motor Engine Plant makes traceability system which is used to track and record production data every day. Traceability system is used to track and record the number of engine and crankshaft. Traceability system use barcode scanner technology which is in the principle, there are two main aspects of implementing this system, i.e. tracking and tracing. Tracking is a tracing method of a product at the post production stage (downstream information), while tracing is a way to find the origin of a product (upstream information). Those systems will be controlled using Progammable Logic Control (PLC) and Ethernet (communication technology) will be used to connect scanner and the components in PLC. Data scanning results with csv format will be stored in the memory card.
