POLA ASUH BEN CASH PADA FILM CAPTAIN FANTASTIC: TINJAUAN EKSISTENSIALISME JEAN-PAUL CHARLES AYMARD SARTRE

Cara mengada manusia pada zaman media sosial terarah pada identitas diri yang ditunjukkan dalam akun media sosialnya. Keotentikan manusia diragukan, di tengah keinginan individu menunjukkan identitas yang menurut dirinya baik, bukan pada atribut yang sesuai pada dirinya. Skripsi ini berusaha menunjukkan perlu adanya telaah counter budaya media sosial melalui pemahaman eksistensi manusia dalam pola asuh Ben Cash pada film Captain Fantastic. Skripsi ini berjudul "Pola Asuh Ben Cash Pada Film Captain Fantastic: Tinjauan Eksistensialisme Jean-Paul Charles Aymard Sartre".Kerangka teoretik yang digunakan adalah pemikiran Sartre tentang "Ada dan ketiadaan" dengan tujuan menganalisis prinsip-prinsip pola asuh Ben Cash film Captain Fantastic melalui perspektif eksistensialisme Sartre. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi pustaka dengan menggunakan model pendekatan deduktif melalui metode hermeneutika-filosofis. Langkah- langkah yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengumpulan data, klasifikasi data, analisis data primer dan sekunder, serta analisis hasil. Unsur-unsur metodis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi, intepretasi, dan analisis kritis. Penelitian ini memuat objek material, yaitu pola asuh Ben Cash pada film Captain Fantastic dengan objek formalnya adalah Eksistensialisme Jean Paul Sartre. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ben merupakan tokoh sentral dalam menentukan prinsip pola asuh keluarga. Pilihan Ben untuk mendidik anak-anaknya di pedalaman hutan merupakan prinsip Ben untuk mendidik anak secara mandiri untuk bertahan hidup. Pola asuh yang diberikan Ben menimbulkan berbagai implikasi cara mengada anak Ben dan istri Ben. Ben menidak peradaban modern dan hukum dengan cara hidup di pedalaman hutan untuk menemukan cara mengada. Pada satu sisi Ben Cash berperan sebagai faktisitas yang memiliki sifat-sifat en soi, disisi lain Ben menjadi pour soi.

The way of "how to exist" in the age of social media was being directed by self-identity that shown in social media accounts. The human authenticity was doubtful, among the wants of the individual to show an identity that they think is good, but not on the appropriate attributes of themself. This research tries to show the need of a counter study of social media culture through the understanding of human existence in Ben Cash's parenting on the film Captain Fantastic. This research entitled "The Parenting of Ben Cash on Captain Fantastic Movie: A Review of Charles Aymard Sartre's Existentialism". The theoretical framework use Sartre's notion about "being" and "nothingness" with the aim of analyzing the principles of Ben Cash's parenting on Captain Fantastic movie through the perspective of Jean-Paul Sartre's existensialism. This study was conducted by the method of literature review, using deductive approach model through method philosophical-hermeneutics. The stages of this study are data collection, data clarification, primary and secondary data analysis, and result analysis. The methodical elements in this study are a description, interpretation, and critical analysis. This research includes material objects, namely the parenting of Ben Cash on Captain Fantastic movie by its formal object is the concept of Jean-Paul Sartre's Existentialism. The results of this study indicate that Ben was a central figure in determining the principle of parenting. Ben's choice to educate his children in the inland forest was Ben's principle to educate children independently to survive. The parenting method that provided by Ben gave implications to his children and wife. Ben negate the modern and legal civilization by living in the inland forest to find ways to exist. On one side Ben Cash actB as a facticity that has en soi properties, on the other hand Ben becomes pour soi.
