Analisis Pengaruh ASEAN Free Trade Area Terhadap Ekspor Negara Anggota

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dampak dari perjanjian ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) terhadap jumlah ekspor bilateral antar negara anggotanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel dengan objek 10 negara anggota ASEAN dengan rentan waktu 1997 hingga 2015. Jumlah observasi penelitian ini berjumlah 1417 dengan panel sebanyak 90. Pengolahan data menggunakan Generalized Least Square (GLS) dengan memasukkan opsi heteroskedastisitas dan panel-spesific AR(1). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa AFTA berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap jumlah ekspor bilateral antar negara anggota ASEAN sebesar 0.052%. Selain keuntungan tambahan ekspor, AFTA akan mendorong tingkat persaingan antar negara anggotanya. Terdapat tantangan besar bagi negara anggotanya terkhusus Indonesia yang harus bersaing dalam segi komoditas, tenaga kerja, dan kapital.

This study aims to analyze the impact of the ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) agreement on the number of bilateral exports among its member countries. This study uses panel data with 10 member countries of ASEAN with vulnerable time of 1997 to 2015. The number of observations this research amounted to 1417 with panel as much 90. Data processing using Generalized Least Square (GLS) by including heteroskedastisitas and panel-specific AR (1) . The results of this study indicate that AFTA has a positive and significant impact on the number of bilateral exports among ASEAN member countries by 0.052%. In addition to the additional benefits of exports, AFTA will encourage the level of competition among its member countries. There are great challenges for its special member states of Indonesia that must compete in terms of commodities, labor and capital.
