HUBUNGAN PRODUKTIVITAS DENGAN KESESUAIAN LAHAN TANAMAN TEBU LAHAN KERING DI KEBUMEN

Produksi tebu saat ini belum bisa mencukupi kebutuhan gula nasional maka perlu usaha untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tebu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan antara karakteristik kesesuaian lahan dengan produktivitas tanaman tebu beberapa kecamatan di Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei lapangan diawali dengan penentuan titik sampel dan data produktivitas tebu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan produktivitas tebu memiliki status rendah <250 kwt/ha, sedang 250-500 kwt/ha dan tinggi >500 kwt/ha (BST, 2015). Paramater sifat tanah yang paling berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas adalah pH, C Organik, N,P,K. Hubungan produktivitas tebu dan kelas kesesuaian lahan pada tanaman dengan status rendah dan sedang adalah berbanding lurus dengan kelas kesesuaian lahan S2wa nf eh dan S2nf eh. Sedangkan untuk tanaman dengan status tinggi tidak berbanding lurus.

The Current production of sugar cane is not sufficient for the national sugar needs, it is necessary to increase the productivity of sugar cane. This study aims to find the relation between land suitability characteristics with sugar cane productivity in some sub-districts in Kebumen Regency. This research uses field survey method begins with the determination of sample point and sugarcane productivity data. The results showed that the productivity of sugar cane was of low <250 kwt/ha, medium 250-500 kwt/ha and high 500 kwt/ha status (BST, 2015), parameters of soil characteristics the have the most influence on sugarcane productivity are pH, Organic C, N, P, K. The association of soil productivity of land suitability in plant with low and medium status is directly proportional with land sutability clas S2 wa, nf, eh and S2 nf eh. While for plant with high status is not directly proportional.
