KETERGANTUNGAN MASYARAKAT DESA GIRISUKO TERHADAP HUTAN LINDUNG RPH BIBAL BDH PANGGANG KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

Hutan lindung RPH Bibal BDH Panggang merupakan kawasan hutan yang beralih fungsi dari hutan produksi menjadi hutan lindung. Ketergantungan masyakat Desa Girisuko terhadap sumberdaya hutan di RPH Bibal masih sangat tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman masyarakat tentang hutan lindung dan ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap Hutan Lindung RPH Bibal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dari satu populasi dan menggunakan kuisioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan wawancara terstruktur dengan panduan kuisioner. Pengambilan sampel masyarakat Desa Girisuko dengan pertimbangan kemampuan peneliti untuk untuk membayar imbalan berjumlah 40 KK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman masyarakat terhadap hutan sangat tinggi. Masyarakat 100% mengetahui status kepemilikan lahan hutan lindung, masyarakat 100% mengetahui siapa saja instansi pengelola kawasan hutan lindung, masyarakat 100% mengetahui larangan membuka lahan hutan terhadap kawasan hutan lindung, serta masyarakat juga 100% mengetahui batas-batas kawasan hutan lindung. Ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap sumberdaya hutan masih tinggi dengan persentase 58% dengan nilai pendapatan sebesar Rp 657.500,00 per bulan, sedangkan pendapatan masyarakat dari luar hutan lebih kecil dengan persentase 42% dengan nilai pendapatan Rp 472.500,00 per bulan.

Protected forest RPH BDH Panggang Bibal is an area that switches function from production forest to protected forest. The dependence of the villagers of Girisuko village on the forest resources of RPH Bibal BDH Panggang is very high. This research aimed to determine the communitys understanding of protected forest and community dependence on protected Forest RPH Bibal. This research was done by survey method with sampling technique from one population and using questionnaire as data collection tool. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling with structured interview with questionnaire guide. Sampling of Girisuko villagers with consideration of the researcher's ability to pay the reward amounted to 40 families. This results shows that people's understanding of the forest is very high. 100% people understand the status of protected forest land ownership, forest area management agency, prohibition of forest clearing on protected forest areas, and the community also 100% aware of the boundaries of protected forest areas. The community's dependence on forest resources is still high with a percentage of 58% with average income value of Rp 657,500.00 per month, while the income of the community from outside the forest is smaller with a percentage of 42% with average income value of Rp 472,500.00 per month.
