PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENGELOLAAN HUTAN LINDUNG DI RPH MANGUNAN KPH YOGYAKARTA

Hutan adalah suatu kesatuan ekosistem berupa hamparan lahan berisi sumber daya yang beragam, Dengan adanya pemanfaatan sumber daya hutan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat sekitar hutan membuktikan adanya interaksi antara masyarakat dengan hutan. Bentuk-bentuk interaksi masyarakat dengan sumber daya hutan dipengaruhi oleh persepsi mereka terhadap sumber daya hutan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap hutan lindung yang berada di RPH Mangunan BKPH Kulonprogo-Bantul KPH Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April s.d Juni 2018. Dalam penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Pada penelitian ini populasi yang diambil adalah masyarakat sekitar kawasan Hutan lindung di RPH Mangunan yang meliputi 3 Desa, yaitu Desa Mangunan, Desa Terong, dan Desa Muntuk. Jumlah responden pada setiap desa ada 30 responden sehingga total responden adalah 90 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa persepsi masyarakat desa yang berada di sekitar RPH Mangunan terhadap Pengelolaan Hutan Lindung yaitu masyarakat menyadari bahwa hutan mempunyai fungsi pokok sebagai perlindungan sistem penyangga kehidupan untuk mengatur tata air, mencegah banjir dan memelihara kesuburan tanah meliputi pemanfaatkan lahan bawah tegakan, pemanfaatan jasa lingkungan berupa ekowisata dan pemanfaatan hasil hutan non kayu. Hutan dikelola oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat akan berjalan dengan baik serta pencapaianya akan maksimal,masyarakat berpartisipasi dalam hal keamanan, kebersihan, perawatan, dan pemeliharaan.

Forests are a form of ecosystem unity consisting of diverse natural resources, which use natural resources that can be done by communities around the forest. Forms interact with forest resources with them. The purpose of this study is to know the understanding of the community on protected forest located in the RPH Mangunan BKPH Kulonprogo-Bantul KPH Yogyakarta. Data collection method used in this research is survey method. In this study the population taken is the community around the protected forest area in RPH Mangunan covering 3 villages, Mangunan Village, Terong Village, and Village Muntuk. The number of respondents in each village is 30 respondents so that the total respondent is 90 people Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the perception of rural communities that are located around the RPH Mangunan of Protected Forest Management that the community realizes that the forest has a basic function as a protection of life support system to regulate the water system, prevent flooding and maintain soil fertility covering the use of land under stands, the utilization of eco-tourism services and the utilization of non-timber forest products. The forest is managed by the government and the community will run well and its achievements will be maximized, the community participates in terms of security, hygiene, maintenance and maintenance
