METODE PELAKSANAAN DAN EVALUASI EFEKTIVITAS PEKERJAAN PERBAIKAN FONDASI PADA RIVER BED PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN KARIAN MULTIPURPOSE DAM BANTEN

Grouting adalah metode penyuntikan bahan semi kental (slurry material) ke dalam tanah atau batuan melalui lubang bor yang bertujuan untuk menutup diskontruksi terbuka, rongga-rongga dan lubang-lubang pada lapisan yang dituju untuk meningkatkan daya dukung tanah atau batuan. Latar belakang dilakukannya studi tentang grouting adalah untuk menganalisis diperlukannya grouting pada tanah atau batuan, untuk mengetahui tujuan dilakukannya grouting pada river bed, untuk mengetahui metode grouting yang tepat pada river bed Bendungan Karian, serta untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pekerjaan grouting. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan penulis adalah observasi langsung di lapangan, interview, dan studi literatur. Berdasarkan observasi langsung dan interview diketahui bahwa metode grouting pada river bed Bendungan Karian menggunakan metode bertahap naik dengan penyekat (upstage with packer). Apabila terjadi kendala di lapangan seperti keruntuhan tanah atau batuan (collapse), maka digunakan metode bertahap turun dengan penyekat (downstage with packer). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada river bed Bendungan Karian diperlukan perbaikan fondasi, karena keadaan struktur fondasi yang tersusun dari batuan sedimen tufaan, nilai Lugeon yang diperoleh dari water pressure test (WPT) > 3 Lu, serta nilai K > n x 10-5. Evaluasi efektivitas grouting dilakukan dengan check hole. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas grouting pada river bed rendah dan perlu ditambahkan lubang uji untuk meningkatkan efektivitasnya.

Grouting is a method of injecting a slurry material into a soil or rock through a borehole to fill the disconstruction gaps, cavities and holes in the intended layer to increase the bearing capacity or strength of the soil or rock. The aim of this study is to analyze the grouting need for soil or rock, to find out the purposes of grouting in the river bed, to find out the proper grouting method in Karian dam's river bed, and to evaluate the grouting effectiveness. The research method used by writer is direct observation in the field, interview, and study of literature. Based on the direct observation and interview, known that the grouting method in the river bed of Karian Dam used upstage with packer. When the collapse of the soil or rock happened, it uses downstage with packer grouting method. Based on the results of the analysis and study, it can be concluded that the river bed of Karian Dam needs treatment on the foundation, since the state of the foundation structure is composed of tuffaceous sedimentary rock, Lugeon value obtained from water pressure test (WPT) is > 3 Lu, and the value of K is > n x 10-5. The evaluation of grouting effectiveness is done with the check hole. The result shows that the grouting effectivity in the river bed is low and should be added the test hole to increase the effectivity.
