KOMPOSISI JENIS TUMBUHAN BAWAH PADA TEGAKAN Pinus Merkusii DI RPH TEMANGGAL KABUPATEN MAGELANG

Hutan di RPH Temanggal merupakan salah satu hutan yang ditumbuhi jenis Pinus. Selain jenis pinus, tumbuhan bawah menjadi penyusun vegetasi tanaman pada ekosistem hutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui komposisi jenis, jumlah tumbuhan bawah dan tingkat keanekaragaman jenisnya dalam lokasi penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan pada 3 lokasi (petak 13A, petak 14A dan petak 14 B2) di RPH Temanggal dengan metode Systematics Sampling with Purposive Starts. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di kanan kiri jalan setapak dari bawah menuju ke atas bukit secara berseling. Jumlah petak ukur sebanyak 30 petak ukur dengan ukuran 2x2 meter dan jarak antar petak ukur 10 meter. Parameter yang diambil dalam petak ukur 2 m x 2 m tersebut meliputi macam jenis dan jumlah individu tiap jenis. Komposisi jenis tumbuhan bawah pada tegakan pinus di RPH Temanggal ditemukan sebanyak 17 jenis dari 10 famili dengan 9 jenis herba, 7 jenis perdu dan 1 jenis paku-pakuan. Jenis tumbuhan bawah yang dominan pada RPH Temanggal yang memiliki nilai Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) tertinggi yaitu Axonophus compressus, Oplismenus burmanni, dan Calliandra haematocephala dengan nilai masing-masing sebesar 80,65%, 23,53%, dan 15,36%. Keanekaragaman tumbuhan bawah berdasarkan Indeks Keanekaragaman diketahui sebesar 1,43 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang.

The forest in RPH Temanggal is one of the forests covered by Pinus species. In addition to the pine species, the groundcover species became composition component of vegetation in the forest ecosystem. This research was conducted to know the composition of species, the number of plants and diversity level of species in the study sites. This research was conducted in 3 locations (plot 13A, plot 14A and plot 14B2) in RPH Temanggal using method of Systematics Sampling with Purposive Starts. The sample collection was perform on the right-left side of the path from lower part to the top of the hill. Total plot as much as 30 plots with a size of 2x2 metres and the distance between plots measuring 10 metres. Parameters taken in the 2 m x 2 m plot were species and number of individu of each species. Species composition of ground cover in pine stands in RPH Temanggal found as many as 17 species from 10 families with 9 species of herbs, 7 species of shrubs, and 1 species of fern. The dominant species of ground cover in the RPH Temanggal which have the highest Important Value Index (INP) are Axonophus compressus, Oplismenus burmanni, and Calliandra calothyrsus with the values 80,65%, 23,53%, dan 15,36%. Diversity of ground cover species based on the Diversity Index is known 1,43 which included to the medium category.
