TINJAUAN PRINSIP OTONOMI TERHADAP PERILAKU PIALANG SAHAM DALAM FILM THE WOLF OF WALL STREET

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perilaku-perilaku para pialang saham pada film The Wolf of Wall Street. Penelitian ini bertitik tolak pada: pertama, Mendiskripsikan makna dari film The Wolf of Wall Street karya Martin Scorsese. Kedua, menganalisis kritis prinsip otonomi terhadap film The Wolf of Wall Street. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, verstehen, interpretasi, dan hermeneutika. Penggunaan metode tersebut didasarkan atas permasalahan yang ada dan sebagai alat untuk mencari pemecahan masalah yang telah menjadi pertanyaan dalam rumusan masalah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi banyak penyelewengan pola kerja yang dilakukan para pialang saham Stratton Oakmont yang melanggar prinsip otonomi dan prinsip-prinsip lain etika bisnis. Peran pialang saham dalam bursa efek sangatlah penting, maka dari itu diperlukan kebijakan-kebijakan yang mempunyai kekuatan untuk mengatur pola kerja pialang saham dan kekuatan untuk menyeleksi para pialang saham. Kekuatan tersebut harus berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis serta prinsip otonomi secara khusus untuk memilih para calon pialang yang bermoral.

This study aims to examine the behavior of stockbrokers in the film of The Wolf of Wall Street. This research is based on: First, describing the meaning of Martin Scorsese's film: The Wolf of Wall Street. Second, critically analyzing the principle of autonomy on the film of The Wolf of Wall Street. The method used in this research is descriptive, verstehen, interpretation, and hermeneutics. The use of such methods is based on existing problems and as a tool for finding the solution that has become a question in problem formulation The results of this study indicate that there are a lot of deviation in the work patterns of Oakton Stratton stock brokers that violate the principle of autonomy and other principles of business ethics.The role of stockbrokers in stock exchanges is very important, therefore it is necessary to have policies that have the power to regulate the pattern of stock brokers and the power to select the stockbrokers. The power must be based on business ethics principles and the principle of autonomy specifically to select candidates for a moral broker.
