Artikel ulasan film menjadi jenis berita yang penting ketika penonton ingin menonton film. Saat ini sudah banyak media online yang menerbitkan artikel ulasan film, salah satunya Rappler Indonesia. Rappler Indonesia adalah media online yang menerbitkan artikel yang mengulas dari berbagai topik. Rappler berpusat di Filipina dan mendirikan sebuah biro sejak 2014 di Indonesia. Sebagai media online yang menerbitkan artikel ulasan film, Rappler Indonesia sangat memperhatikan detil dari film sehingga artikel ulasan film menjadi salah satu artikel yang paling banyak dibaca di situs Rappler Indonesia. Artikel ulasan film di Rappler Indonesia memiliki ciri khas-nya sendiri sehingga menarik perhatian para penonton film yang ingin menonton film. Tujuan dari penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah menjelaskan dan membahas proses menulis artikel ulasan film di Rappler Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan kualitatif melalui proses magang di kantor Rappler Indonesia selama dua bulan. Proses yang dilakukan berupa observasi dan juga wawancara dengan staff di Rappler Indonesia. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran artikel ulasan film adalah penting disebabkan sebagai berikut: memberikan informasi yang detil, memberikan informasi yang tidak didapat dari media lainnya, dan menjadi masukan terhadap tim produksi film. Sementara itu, proses menulis artikel ulasan film di Rappler Indonesia diikuti sebagai berikut: kata pengantar, sinopsis, highlight, kelemahan, rating, dan rekomendasi.

The movie review article becomes the type of important news if the readers want to watch the movie. There are a lot of online media that publish movie review articles, Rappler Indonesia is one of a kind. Rappler Indonesia is the online media which publishes articles from various topics. Rappler is originally from Philippines and then has been made into a bureau in Indonesia since 2014. As online media that publishes movie review articles, Rappler Indonesia is very concerned about the details of the movie so the movie review articles is one of the most read articles in Rappler Indonesia. The movie review articles has characteristic so the articles attract the viewers who want to watch the movie. The purpose in this graduating paper is to explain the process of writing a movie review article in Rappler Indonesia. The method that the writer used are descriptive and qualitative through the internship process in Rappler Indonesia office for two months. The process that the writer did was observation and also the interview with the staff of Rappler Indonesia. The research reveals that the existence of movie review article is significantly important for following reasons: gives the detail of the movie, gives the information the viewers can’t find in other mass media, and a feedback to movie production staff. Meantime, writing process of movie review article in Rappler Indonesia is conducted under following working process: foreword, synopsis, highlights, weakness, rating, and recommendation.
