ANALISIS PENERAPAN GOOD LABORATORY PRACTICE (GLP) DI NATIONAL LABORATORY ANIMAL CENTER (NLAC), MAHIDOL UNIVERSITY, THAILAND PERIODE TAHUN 2017/2018

Laboratorium memiliki peranan penting sebagai tempat dilakukanya berbagai riset dan pengujian, selain itu juga berperan dalam pengendalian mutu dan penjaminan mutu dari hasil yang didapatkan, untuk mencapai keseragaman hasil analisis dibutuhkan suatu standar yang berskala internasional yang mencakup praktik laboratorium yang baik. Tujuan dari penyusunan tugas akhir ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Penerapan Good Laboratory Practice di National Laboratory Animal Center (NLAC) Mahidol University khususnya dalam Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP), Laboratorium Biosafety Level (BSL) dan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Pengambilan data diperoleh dengan cara observasi yaitu kunjungan, pengamatan dan praktek secara langsung. Kegiatan berlangsung dari tanggal 18 November 2017 sampai dengan 1 Desember 2017. Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) adalah keterpaduan organisasi, fasilitas, personel dan kondisi lingkungan laboratorium. Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) merupakan acuan untuk menjaga kualitas, integritas dan konsistensi dari setiap pemeriksaan yang dilakukan. Laboratorium Biosafety Level (BSL) 2 adalah laboratorium yang dapat digunakan untuk menguji suatu agen penyakit yang cukup potensial untuk membahayakan petugas laboratorium dan lingkungan. Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam perlindungan ketenagakerjaan. Hasil analisis penulis menunjukkan bahwa NLAC termasuk dalam tipe laboratorium IV sedangkan berdasarkan BSL NLAC termasuk dalam BSL 2 sedangkan untuk SOP sudah sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Pertanian No. 44 /OT.140/5/2007 tentang Pedoman Berlaboratorium Veteriner yang baik. Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja yang terdapat di laboratorium NLAC sesuai dengan UU No.1 Tahun 1970 Tentang Keselamatan Kerja dan Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan hidup No. 06 tahun 2009.

The laboratory has an important role as a place to conducted various research and testing, its also plays a roles in quality control and quality assurance of the results obtained, to achieve uniformity of analysis results required an international scale standard covers good laboratory practice. The purpose of this final papper is to know the purpose of the application of Good Laboratory Practice at National Laboratory Animal Center (NLAC) Mahidol University especially in the standard operating procedures (SOP), laboratory biosafety level (BSL) and occupational safety and health (K3). Data retrieval is obtained by observation i.e. visitation, observation and practice directly, the activities took place from 18 November 2017 until 1 December 2017. Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is the integration of the Organization's, facilities, personnel and laboratory environment condition. SOP is a reference to maintain the quality, integrity and consistency of every inspection. BSL 2 is a laboratory that can be used to test a sufficient potential disease agents to harm laboratory and laboratory environments. K3 is one of the important aspects in the protection of employment. The results of analysis show that NLAC is included in type IV while the laboratory based on BSL NLAC included in BSL 2 while SOP is accordance with regulation of the Minister of agriculture no. 44/OT.140/5/2007on Guidelines for a Good Veterinary Lboratory. Occupational health and safety in NLAC is accordance with law No. 1 year 1970 and regulation of the Minister of the environment no. 06 of the year 2009.
