Tugas Akhir ini merupakan terjemahan bab II halaman 61 sampai 82 dari light novel Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan wo: Kokuhaku Jikkoo Iinkai karya Koosaka Mari. Bagian yang diterjemahkan menceritakan kehidupan Setoguchi Hina dan teman-temannya ketika mulai bersekolah di SMA Sakuragaoka. Light novel ini dipilih sebagai materi terjemahan dalam tugas akhir karena memiliki cerita yang menarik. Light novel ini juga mengisahkan tentang hangatnya sebuah persahabatan dan usaha dalam memperjuangkan sesuatu tanpa menyerah. Selain itu, cerita pada light novel ini diwarnai dengan beberapa konflik yang cukup kompleks dan dibumbui dengan komedi. Selama proses menerjemahkan light novel ini terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi, salah satu kendala tersebut adalah mencari padanan kata yang tepat dalam bahasa Indonesia agar mudah dipahami oleh pembaca. Solusi dari kendala tersebut adalah menyesuaikan makna kata yang telah dicari di kamus dengan konteks kalimat pada bahasa Indonesia.

This final assignment is a translation of light novel entitled Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan wo: Kokuhaku Jikkoo Iinkai chapter II page 61-82 by Koosaka Mari. The translated section, which is translated in this paper, tells about Setoguchi Hina and her friend's life when they started to enroll in Sakuragaoka High School. This light novel is particularly chosen as the subject of this final assignment due to its interesting story that generally tells about a warm friendship and the struggle in fighting over something without giving up. Moreover, the story also contains several complex conflicts and jokes. There are some obstacles occurred during the translation process. One of the obstacles is to find the proper translated word in Indonesian language to be easily understood by the reader. The solution of the obstacle is to adjust the meaning of the word that has been searched in the dictionary with the context of the sentence in Indonesian Language.
