Pengelolaan hutan di Indonesia, khususnya di Pulau Jawa, diserahkan kepada Perum Perhutani. Pengelolaan hutan digunakan untuk sebesar-besarnya kemakmuran rakyat. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, dilakukan Pengelolaan Hutan Bersama Masyarakat (PHBM) agar masyarakat dapat ikut memanfaatkan kawasan hutan. Salah satu pemanfaatan kawasan hutan yaitu memanfaatkan hutan produksi sebagai objek wisata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pemanfaatan hutan produksi sebagai objek wisata di Desa Ropoh serta mengetahui faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung dalam mengadakan perjanjian kerjasama dengan Perum Perhutani. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dan kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pemanfaatan kawasan hutan di Desa Ropoh yang dilakukan dengan melalui perjanjian kerjasama dengan Perum Perhutani tidak berjalan baik. Pelaksanaan peninjauan lapangan tidak dilakukan dengan teliti. Oleh karena itu harus dilakukan upaya perbaikan dalam pelaksanaan pemanfaatan kawasan hutan tersebut.

Forest management in Indonesia, particularly in Java, is submitted to Perum Perhutani. The main objective of forest management is to ensure its usage to be in line with the prosperity of the people. To achieve this, the Community Based Forest Management (PHBM) is implemented for the purpose of maximum utilization of the forrest area by the surrounding community. One of the means in realizing the said objective is through utilizing the forest area as an object of tourism. The purpose of this study to determine the implementation of the utilization of production forests as a tourism object in Desa Ropoh as well as to know the inhibiting factors and supporting factors in the cooperation agreement with Perum Perhutani. Data analysis is collected trough descriptive and qualitative methods. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of the utilization of the forest area in Desa Ropoh conducted through cooperation agreement with Perum Perhutani did not work as well as intended. Implementation of field survey is not done carefully. Therefore, efforts should be made to improve the utilization of the forest area.
