DATA KEJADIAN PENYAKIT BRUCELLOSIS DI BALAI BESAR VETERINER (BBVet) WATES YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 2015-2016

Brucellosis merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Bucella sp, yang dapat menginfeksi hewan ternak pada umumnya seperti sapi, kambing dan babi. Bakteri yang menginfeksi kebanyakan pada sapi yaitu Brucella abortus yang menyebabkan keguguran. Penulisan Tugas Akhir bertujuan untuk mengetahui data penyakit brucellosis yang terjangkit wilayah kerja Balai Besar Veteriner Wates (DIY, Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur) selama periode 2015-2016. Pengambilan materi berasal dari kumpulan data pencatatan di Laboratorium Epidemiologi berdasarkan pengujijan Rose Bengal Test (RBT). Uji brucellosis dikatakan positif apabila ditandai dengan adanya aglutinasi atau terlihat seperti butiran pasir di dalam sumuran plate. Pada tahun 2015 sampel positif uji sebanyak 223 dari 5.790 sampel dengan persentase 3,85%. Pada tahun 2016 sebanyak 79 sampel posisitf uji dari 1.509 sampel dengan persentase 5,24%. Terjadi peningkatan pengiriman sampel dari masyarakat DIY, Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur pada tahun 2015 seiring dengan adanya peningkatan kasus positif brucellosis pada ketiga wilayah tersebut.

Brucellosis is a disease caused by Bucella sp, it can infected farm animals such as cattle, goats and pigs. The bacteria mostly infected cow are Brucella abortus which cause of miscarriage. The purpose of this final assigment is to determine the disease brucellosis that attacked the work area of Balai Besar Veteriner (BBVet) Wates (DIY, Central Java and East Java) during the period 2015-2016. Material retrieval is derived from the recorded data by Epidemiology Laboratory based on the Rose Bengal Test (RBT). Brucellosis to be test positive when it is marked by agglutination or looks like a grain of sand in a pipe plate. The results are in 2015 the positive test samples as much as 223 of 5,790 samples with a percentage of 3.85%. While in 2016 as many as 79 sample positive test of 1,509 samples with a percentage of 5.24%. There appears to be an increase in sample shipments from the people of DIY, Central Java and East Java by 2015 along with an increase in positive cases of brucellosis in all three areas.
