Terbentuknya sebuah film melewati tiga proses produksi yaitu pra produksi, produksi dan paska produksi. Untuk melakukan tiga proses tersebut, di dalam produksi film terdapat beberapa orang yang dikenal dengan sebutan kru. Kru dalam produksi film dibagi dalam beberapa divisi. Setiap divisi tentu saja memiliki orang yang menjadi penanggungjawab. Di dalam divisi produksi, terdapat Produser yang bertugas untuk mengatur segala keperluan produksi film. Produser juga bertugas untuk mencari dan membentuk susunan kru. Kru dibuat verdasarkan kebutuhan produksi dalam film. Kru yang terdapat dalam produksi film pendek tentu berbbeda dengan susunan kru secara hirarki industri perfilman. Laporan magang ini membahas tentang tahap tahap produksi film pendek dan bagaimana peran produser di dalamnya.

The making of the movie is divided into three progresses. The first is pre-production, production and post-production. To do those progresses, several persons are involved that are usually called as the crew. Crew of the movie is divided into several different divisions. Each of the division has a certain person who leads and dictates all the activity in that division. In the production division, there is a producer who is responsible to manage with all of the stuff related to the production progress. Producer also has a capability to manage the arrangement of the crew. The arrangement of the crew depends on the production requirement. Crew who is involved in the making of short movie is different with the hierarchical crew in the movie industry. This internship report has a focus to explain about the process of short movie production and the role of the producer on making the short movie.
