Analisis Pengaruh Struktur dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Kinerja Industri Minyak Kelapa Sawit di Indonesia 2009-2016

Industri minyak kelapa sawit merupakan sektor industri strategis nasional utama yang sedang digencarkan oleh pemerintah, dikarenakan peranannya yang dapat memberikan dampak besar bagi perekonomian Indonesia. Indikasi persaingan tidak sehat dalam industri minyak kelapa sawit dapat berdampak negatif bagi negara Indonesia. Sehingga, struktur dan ukuran perusahaan dalam industri minyak kelapa sawit penting untuk dianalisis. Kinerja industri minyak kelapa sawit dapat diukur melalui profitabilitas, yakni Return On Assets (ROA), dipengaruhi oleh empat fakor, yakni pangsa pasar, rasio konsentrasi, total aset dan jumlah pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh struktur dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap kinerja industri minyak kelapa sawit di Indonesia periode 2009-2016. Hasil yang ditemukan adalah terdapat korelasi positif antara rasio konsentrasi empat perusahaan terbesar terhadap ROA. Selain itu, terdapat korelasi negatif antara jumlah pekerja terhadap ROA.

The palm oil industry is a major national strategic industry sector that is being intensified by the government, due to its role which have a major impact on the Indonesian economy. Indications of unhealthy competition in the palm oil industry have a negative impact on the Indonesian state. Thus, the structure and firm size in the palm oil industry is important to be analyzed. The performance of the palm oil industry can be determined by profitability, Return On Assets (ROA) that influenced by four factors, market share, concentration ratio, total assets and number of workers. This research�s aims is to analyze the effect of structure and firm size on the performance of palm oil industry in Indonesia during 2009-2016. The result show that there is a positive correlation between the concentration ratio of four largest companies to ROA. In addition, there is a negative correlation between the number of workers to ROA.
