Kawasan Karst Indonesia Gunung Sewu ditetapkan sebagai Global Geopark oleh UNESCO diharapkan mampu berkembang baik dari segi sosial maupun ekonomi dan budaya. Pendekatan valuasi ekonomi menjadi salah satu metode yang dapat memahami secara ekonomi suatu lingkungan agar pengelolaan lebih efektif dan efesien serta mendorong terwujudnya pembangunan berkelanjutan di kawasan Geopark Gunung Sewu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi variabel yang berkaitan dengan valuasi kawasan karst, melakukan valuasi ekonomi terhadapnya serta merumuskan potensi dan strategi kawasan terkait nilai ekonomi yang sudah dihitung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei lapangan secara langsung dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif kemudian untuk merumuskan strategi digunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan FGD(Focus Group Discussion). Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di kawasan wisata Museum Kars Indonesia Gunung Sewu Global Geopark Kabupaten Wonogiri Desa Gebangharjo Kecamatan Pracimantoro Kabupaten Wonogiri. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas wisatawan, masyarakat dan pelaku usaha. Data penelitian bersumber dari survei dan data dari instansi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan antara lain Travel Cost Method, Production Approach, Market Price Approach dan Contingen Value Method dengan pendekatan Willingness to Pay. Hasil menunjukkan nilai ekonomi penggunaan dan non penggunaan wisata Gunung Sewu Global Geopark Desa Gebangharjo Kabupaten Wonogiri yang teridentifikasi sebanyak 8 variabel terdiri dari, nilai ekonomi kegiatan wisata, nilai ekonomi produksi pertanian, nilai ekonomi produk dan jasa, nilai ekonomi pemanfaatan air, nilai ekonomi serapan karbon, nilai ekonomi produksi oksigen, nilai ekonomi biodiversitas dan nilai ekonomi konservasi sedangkan satu variabel tidak dapat diikutsertakan dalam perhitungan valuasi ekonomi yaitu nilai kepuasan terhadap kawasan wisata. Valuasi nilai ekonomi penggunaan dan non penggunaan wisata Gunung Sewu Global Geopark Desa Gebangharjo Kabupaten Wonogiri adalah sebesar Rp 273. 495.514.713,-. Potensi dan strategi masyarakat terkait valuasi ekonomi wisata Gunung Sewu Global Geopark Desa Gebangharjo Kabupaten Wonogiri yang perlu difokuskan kepada pengembangan SDM kebutuhan akan inisiator dan koordinasi antara pihak terkait.

Karst Indonesia is designated as Global Geopark by UNESCO is expected to develop both in social and economic and cultural aspects. Economic valuation approach becomes one of the methods that can economically understand an environment for more effective and efficient management and encourage the realization of sustainable development in the Geopark region of the world. The purpose of this study is to identify the variables related to karst area valuation, to conduct economic valuation on it and to formulate the potential and strategy of the area related to the economic value that has been calculated. This research method used field survey method directly with quantitative descriptive approach then to formulate strategy used technique of data collecting interview and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The location of the research was conducted in the tourist area of Kars Museum of Indonesia Gunung Sewu Global Geopark Wonogiri Regency Gebangharjo Village, Pracimantoro Sub-district, Wonogiri Regency. The study sample consisted of tourists, community and business actors. Research data is sourced from surveys and data from agencies. Data analysis methods used include Travel Cost Method, Production Approach, Market Price Approach and Conting Value Method with Willingness to Pay approach. The result shows the economic value of the use and non use of Gunung Sewu Global Geopark Gebangharjo Village, Wonogiri Regency identified 8 variables consisting of, the economic value of tourism activity, the economic value of agricultural production, the economic value of the products and services, the economic value of water utilization, the economic value of carbon uptake , economic value of oxygen production, economic value of biodiversity and economic value of conservation while one variable can not be included in economic valuation calculation that is value of satisfaction to tourist area. Valuation of economic value of use and non use of Gunung Sewu Global Geopark Gebangharjo Village, Wonogiri Regency is Rp 273. 495.514.713, -. Potential and community strategy related to the economic valuation of Mount Sewu Global Geopark Tourism Village Gebangharjo Wonogiri Regency which needs to be focused on human resources development needs of initiator and coordination between related parties.
