Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Presensi Berbasis Web Program Studi Komputer Dan Sistem Informasi Universitas Gadjah Mada

Proses presensi dan rekapitulasi kehadiran pada Program Studi Komputer dan Sistem Informasi UGM saat ini masih menggunakan cara manual melalui pencatatan pada buku presensi. Rekapitulasi kehadiran setiap akhir semester, dosen, asisten, staf akademik maupun staf laboran akan menghitung satu per satu dan memasukan hasil rekapitulasi ke dalam aplikasi pengolah angka secara manual. Akibatnya proses presensi harian jauh lebih lama dan merepotkan asisten, dosen, staf akademik, serta staf laboran ketika harus merekap presensi setiap akhir semester secara manual. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, perlu dikembangkan sistem informasi presensi berbasis web pada Program Studi Komputer dan Sistem Informasi untuk menangangi masalah proses presensi dan rekapitulasi secara manual. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dibantu dengan framework Codeigniter, javascript dengan framework Jquery, webserver Apache, dan MySQL dalam pengolahan basis data. Tujuan dibuat sistem informasi presensi berbasis web agar proses presensi dapat dilakukan secara efektif dan mempermudah dosen, asisten, staf akademik serta staf laboran dalam melakukan proses rekapitulasi presensi kehadiran. Kesimpulan dari sistem informasi presensi berbasis web ini, seluruh responden (100%) menyatakan merasa terbantu dengan adanya sistem tersebut dan sebagian besar responden (82%) menyatakan sistem ini sudah bagus. Saran, sistem presensi berbasis web yang telah dibangun perlu ditambah fitur unggah surat, fitur presensi mahasiswa secara mandiri dengan integrasi alat otomatis dan halaman khusus untuk ketua laboran ketika melakukan pemantauan.

Presence and recapitulation process of attendance at Course of study Computer and Information System Gadjah Mada University is still recorded by put it into presenting papers manually. At the end of semester, lecturer, assistants, academic staff, and laboratory staff have to count the recapitulation one by one and insert it into electronic spreadsheet program manually. Therefore, the daily attendance process is much longer and makes every staff have to conduct the recapitulation process in every end of semester. Based on the problem, it is necessary to develop a web-based attendance information system in this course of study to handle presence and recapitulation process. This system is built using PHP programming language assisted with Codeigniter framework, javascript with Jquery framework, Apache webserver, and MySQL in database processing. The purpose of developing this program is to give improvement in recording the attendace process to be more effective and help every staff in conducting recapitulation process. The conclusion of this system, all respondents (100%) said that they feel helped by the system and most respondents (82%) stated that the Web-based Presence System of Komsi UGM Study Program is good. In addition, web-based presenting system that has been built needs to be added features such as letter upload, independent student presence features with automatic tool integration, and special page for laboran chairman when doing monitoring.
