ANALISIS PERBEDAAN KINERJA KEUANGAN BUMN: STUDI EMPIRIS DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

BUMN selama ini sering mendapat sorotan kritis dari masyarakat. BUMN dipandang sebagai badan usaha yang tidak efisien, karena boros dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya, sarat dengan korupsi, serta memiliki profitabilitas yang rendah. Adanya BUMN menjadi patokan kegiatan-kegiatan usaha bagi pihak lain khususnya swasta, karena ikut andilnya pemerintah dalam menjalankan badan usaha. Subsidi dari pemerintah menjadikan suatu kekuatan untuk melakukan kegiatan usaha yang lebih baik dari pihak swasta. Untuk sampel peneliti menggunakan BUMN untuk tiga kondisi, yaitu sebelum dan setelah privatisasi, sebelum dan setelah krisis 2008, dan perbandingan dengan perusahaan pembanding tahun 2012-2016. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji beda paired t-test. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan kinerja BUMN sebelum dan sesudah privatisasi, tidak adanya perbedaan kinerja BUMN sebelum dan sesudah krisis, adanya perbedaan kinerja antara BUMN dan perusahaan pembanding. SOEs have often been critically highlighted by the public. SOE is seen as an inefficient business entity, because it is wasteful in resource use, loaded with corruption, and has low profitability. SOEs' performance is often poorly published and inefficient, but SOEs are still needed (Mbo and Adjasi, 2017). The existence of SOEs to be the benchmark of business activities for other parties, especially the private sector, because the share of government in running a business entity. Subsidies from the government make it a strength to conduct better business activities from the private sector. For the sample researchers used SOEs for three conditions, in example before and after privatization, before and after the 2008 crisis and comparison with comparison companies 2012-2016. The analysis used in this research is paired t-test different test. The results of the research indicate that there are differences in the performance of SOEs before and after privatization, no difference in performance of SOEs before and after the crisis, the difference in performance between SOEs and comparison companies.
