EFEK PEMBERIAN POTASSIUM OXONATE TERHADAP KADAR ASAM URAT TIKUS WISTAR JANTAN

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian potassium oksonat terhadap kadar asam urat pada tikus Wistar jantan. Dua belas ekor tikus Wistar jantan umur 1 bulan dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok kontrol sehat dan kontrol asam urat yang diinjeksi potassium oksonat 250 mg/kg BB dalam CMC-Na 0,3% secara intraperitoneal. Pengukuran kadar asam urat dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali sebelum dan setelah 7 hari pemberian potassium oksonat. Pengukuran kadar asam urat menggunakan metode tes Photometric Enzimatik dengan spektrofotometri menggunakan TBHBA (2,4,6, tribromo-3hydroxybenzoid acid) pada panjang gelombang 500 nm. Data selanjutnya dianalisis oleh teknik analisa menggunakan T-Test aplikasi SPSS 24.0. Pemberian dosis tunggal potassium oksonat dosis 250 mg/kg BB menghasilkan peningkatan kadar asam urat sebanyak 40% dari 2.999 mg/dL sampai 6.923 mg/dL di hari ke 7 pasca induksi.
Elevation of uric acid level in the blood can lead to pathological conditions such as gout. This study was conducted to determine the effect of potassium oxonate on the level of uric acid in male Wistar rats. Twelve male Wistar mice aged 1 month were divided into 2 healthy control groups and uric acid control injected with potassium oxonate 250 mg / kg BW in CMC-Na 0.3% intraperitoneally. Measurements of uric acid levels were performed 2 times before and after 7 days of potassium oxonate administration. Measurement of uric acid level using Photometric Enzymatic test method with spectrophotometric using TBHBA (2,4,6, tribromo-3hydroxybenzoid acid) at 500 nm wavelength. Further data were analyzed by analysis technique using T-Test of SPSS 24.0 application. Single dose of potassium oxonate dose 250 mg / kg BB resulted in increased uric acid levels by 40% from 2,999 mg / dL to 6.923 mg / dL at day 7 post induction.
