STUDI TRANSENDENTALISME RALPH EMERSON TERHADAP PUISI-PUISI ST. THERESE OF LISIEUX

Penelitian berjudul "Studi Transendentalisme Ralph Emerson Terhadap Puisi-Puisi St. Therese Of Lisieux" ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pemaknaan dan gambaran transendentalisme St. Theresa yang terdapat dalam kumpulan puisi-puisinya dengan menggunakan teori Semiotika Riffaterre. Adapun objek formalnya dalam penenelitian ini adalah studi transendentalisme. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori dan metode Semiotika Riffaterre. Objek material penelitan adalah puisi-puisi yang terdapat dalam "Poems Of St.Theresa, Carmelite Of Lisieux; Known as the 'litle flower of Jesus' by St.Therese of Lisieux" yang diterbitkan pada tahun 1907 oleh penerbit Carmelite Convent dengan mengambil 5 (lima) puisi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Adapun tahapan pemaknaan yang dilakukan yaitu, 1) Pembacaan heuristik dan hermeneutik, 2) Mengidentifikasi matriks, model, varian serta hipogram, 3) Mencari makna dalam puisi-puisi, 4) Menemukan dan mengeksplorasikan gamabaran transendentalisme yang terkandung di dalam ke lima puisi yang dijadikan sampel penelitian, 5) Menetapkan hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil identifikasi masalah yang ada dan tentunya mengkonfimasikan kembali berdasarkan studi transendentalisme Ralph Emerson yang dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Studi Transendentalisme Ralph Emerson Terhadap Puisi-Puisi St. Therese Of Lisieux melalui pembacaan heuristik dan hermeneutik dapat menemukan pemaknaan dan gamabaran Transendentalisme St. Therese of Lisieux yang sangat signifikan yakni sebagai pola hidup aplikatif dalam pola sikap iman dalam hidup kerohanian. Pemaknaan terhadap puisi dijadikan sampel penelitian melalui pembacaan heuristik dan hermeneutik secara bersamaan sampai memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa transendentalisme St. Therese of Lisieux merupakan suatu bentuk kehidupan yang berada di bawah pengaruh ideologi Transendentalisme itu sendiri yakni selalu diwarnai dengan dorongan yang kuat untuk memiliki pengalaman pribadi dalam relasi mesra dan romantik bersama pribadi yang transenden yaitu Tuhan. Transendentalisme St. Therese of Lisieux dalam puisi-puisiya telah bermanifestasi nyata ke dalam beberapa sifat ini seperti: Transendentalisme yang bersifat Philosophy Thought, Transendentalisme yang bersifat Self Reliance, Transendentalisme yang bersifat Aesthetic Describtion, dan transendentalisme yang bersifat Intelectual Indepndency, serta transendentalisme yang bersifat spiritual experience/mystical expresssion yang terdapat dalam puisi-puisi St. Therese of Lisieux. Transendentalisme St. Therese of Liseux bersifat pengalaman spiritual yang melahirkan kebajikan hidup dan moral iman yang sepenuhnya nyata dalam kehidupan yang dibangun di atas dasar iman, harapan dan kasih kepada Tuhan dan sesama.

The study, titled "The Study of Transcendentalism Ralph Emerson Against On Poems By St. Therese Of Lisieux" aims to express the meaning and description of St. Transendentalism. Theresa is contained in the collection of his poems by using the Riffaterre Semiotics theory. The formal object in this study is the study of transcendentalism. This research is qualitative by using Riffaterre Semiotics theory and method. The object of research material is the poems contained in "Poems Of St.Theresa, Carmelite Of Lisieux; Known as the 'litle flower of Jesus' by St.Therese of Lisieux "published in 1907 by Carmelite Convent publishers by taking 5 (five) poems were sampled. The stages of meaning are: 1) heuristic and hermeneutic readings, 2) identifying matrices, models, variants and hipograms, 3) searching for meaning in poems, 4) discovering and exploring the transcendentalism imagery contained in the five poems made sample research, 5) Sets the results of the study based on the results of the identification of existing problems and certainly reconfirmed based on the study of transcendentalism Ralph Emerson in this study. The results of the study show that Ralph Emerson's Transcendentalism Study of St. Poetry Therese Of Lisieux through heuristic and hermeneutical readings can find meaning and transcendence of St. Transendentalism. Therese of Lisieux is very significant as an applicative lifestyle in the pattern of faith attitude in spiritual life. The meaning of poetry is sampled through heuristic and hermeneutic readings simultaneously until it comes to the conclusion that the transcendentalism of St. Therese of Lisieux is a form of life under the influence of the ideology of Transcendentalism itself that is always colored with a strong impulse to have personal experience in intimate and romantic relationships with a transcendent person that is God. Transcendentalism St. Therese of Lisieux in his poems has manifested itself in some of these traits such as: Transcendentalism that is Philosophy Thought, Self Reliance Transcendentalism, Aesthetic Describtion Transcendentalism, and Transcendentalism that is Intellectual Indepen- tency, as well as spiritual experience / mystical transcendentalism expresssion contained in the poems of St. Therese of Lisieux. Transcendentalism St. Therese of Liseux is a spiritual experience that gives birth to the virtues of life and morals in faith that are fully evident in life built on the foundation of faith, hope and love for God and neighbor.
