ANALISA DAMPAK PENGURANGAN PEKERJA SEBAGAI USAHA OPTIMALISASI MANPOWER PADA LINE HOUSING ASSY DI PT INTI GANDA PERDANA

Dalam era globalisasi, persaingan perusahaan manufaktur menjadi lebih ketat terlebih dengan berlakunya system pasar bebas. PT Inti Ganda Perdana merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi komponen otomotif. Perusahaan ini memiliki misi untuk berkembang dan dapat bersaing dengan perusahaan lain. Perusahaan yang baik adalah perusahaan dengan lini produksi yang efisien. Adanya over processing pada line housing assy di PT Inti Ganda Perdana perlu dilakukan analisa mengenai jumlah tenaga kerjanya. Dalam menyelesaikan masalah ini, penulis menggunakan metode pengamatan langsung pada lapangan, mempelajari literatur, dan menganalisa masalah yang ada pada line. Berdasarkan pengamatan, diambil data-data cycle time dan elemen kerja pada line tersebut. Selanjutnya, konsep baru dibuat dan kemudian diuji langsung ke tenaga kerja. Untuk menganalisis konsep yang diusulkan, data dari uji coba dicatat kemudian dievaluasi untuk membandingkan antara konsep kerja baru dan kondisi yang ada. Pengurangan tenaga kerja berdasarkan konsep baru dapat dilakukan dari jumlah awal 7 tenaga kerja menjadi 6 tenaga kerja dan menghasilkan waktu cycle time tertinggi tidak terlalu signifikan. Dampak dari pengurangan tersebut menyebabkan penurunan 3% dalam efisiensi produksi. Hal tersebut dapat diminimalisir dengan penambahan alat bantu untuk loading dan masking pada ulir di housing assembly.

In globalization era, the competitive atmosphere of manufacturing companies would become a challenge, especially with the introduction of free market system. PT Inti Ganda Perdana is one of the manufacturing companies that produce automotive components. This company has a mission to grow and to compete with other companies. A good company is a company with an efficient production line. The existence of over-processing in the line of housing assy in PT Inti Ganda Perdana need to be analize regarding the quantity of manpower. In solving this problem, the authors use direct observation methods on the field, study the literature, and analyze the problems that exist on the production line. Based on the observation, the data of cycle time and work elements are taken from the line. Furthermore, a new concept was created and then be tested directly to the manpower. In order to analized the proposed concept, the subsequent trials data that were recorded then be evaluated to compare between the new work plan and the existing condition. Reduction of manpower based on the new concept can be done from the initial quantity of 7 manpower to 6 manpower and resulted that on the highest cycle time is not too significant. The impact of such reductions leads to a 3% decrease in production efficiency. It can be minimized with the addition of tools for loading and masking on the screw in the housing
