PERAN WISATA SEJARAH TERHADAP PEMBANGUNAN PARIWISATA DI PROVINSI DIY DAN JAWA TENGAH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak wisata sejarah terhadap Pariwisata di provinsi DIY dan JATENG dengan membandingkan jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke objek wisata sejarah secara umum dan membandingkan jumlah destinasi wisata berbasis sejarah dan kontribusinya terhadap PAD Provinsi DIY dan Jateng. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi komparasi sederhana dan review studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa jumlah wisatawan Candi Borobudur lebih banyak dibanding dengan jumlah wisatawan Candi Prambanan, jumlah wisatawan Keraton Surakarta lebih sedikit dibanding dengan jumlah wisatawan Keraton Surakarta, jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Museum Benteng Vredeburg lebih banyak dibanding dengan jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Museum Ranggawarsita. Jumlah destinasi wisata di Provnsi Jawa Tengah lebih banyak dibanding dengan jumlah destinasi wisata di Provinsi DIY. Kontribusi sub sektor pariwisata antara Provinsi DIY dan Jateng sama-sama meningkat dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir (2011-2015).

This study aims to determine the impact of historical tourism on the tourism in the province of Yogyakarta and Central Java by comparing the number of tourists visiting the historical attractions in general and compare the number of tourist destinations based on history and its contribution to PAD DIY and Central Java Province. This study uses a simple comparative study method and literature review. The results of this study indicate that the number of tourists Borobudur temple more than the number of tourists Prambanan Temple, the number of Surakarta Palace tourists fewer than the number of tourists Surakarta Palace, the number of tourists visiting the Museum Vredeburg more than the number of tourists visiting the Museum Ranggawarsita . The number of tourist destinations in Provnsi Central Java is more compared with the number of tourist destinations in Yogyakarta Province. The contribution of tourism sub-sector between DIY and Central Java Province has increased equally in the last 5 years (2011-2015).
