STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KELOMPOK PENGOLAH MOCAF DI KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor internal, faktor eksternal, dan alternatif strategi pengembangan kelompok pengolah mocaf di Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Metode dasar penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis. Penentuan daerah dan responden berdasarkan metode purposive sampling, yaitu 17 orang yang terdiri dari kelompok pengolah dan Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan di Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Analisis dilakukan dengan analisis IFAS, analisis EFAS, dan analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan Kelompok Pengolah Mocaf di Kabupaten Gunungkidul berada pada kuadran II dengan skor kekuatan sebesar 3,83, skor kelemahan sebesar 3,76, skor peluang sebesar 3,66, skor ancaman sebesar 3,78. Strategi yang baik untuk diterapkan adalah ST (Strengths-Threats) dengan mendukung strategi diversifikasi melalui manajemen budidaya varietas diluar musim, promosi, peningkatan kualitas produk, kemitraan, serta efisiensi dan diversifikasi olahan.

The aims of this research is to assess the internal factors, external factors, and alternative strategies mocaf processing group development in Gunungkidul. The basic method of this research is descriptive analysis. The area and the respondents choose by purposive sampling method, 17 consist of processing group and Departement of Agriculture and Food in Gunungkidul. The analysis was conducted with IFAS analysis, EFAS analysis, and SWOT analysis. The analysis showed that development strategy of mocaf processing group in Gunungkidul is in quadrant II with score of strength is 3,83, score of weakness is 3,76, score of opportunity is 3,66, and score of threat is 3,78. A good strategy to be applied is ST (Strengths-Threats) to support the diversification strategy through seasonal cultivation management, promotion, product quality improvement, partnership, efficiency and diversification of preparations.
