Recycle sand terbuat dari pasir dan debu yang diolah sedemikian rupa, sehingga terbentuk seperti kristal yang disebut recycle sand. Thermotical adalah metode untuk mengetahui persebaran suhu yang berada di permukaan aspal. Pengujian menggunakan alat non contact termometer. Pengujian persebaran suhu dilakukan terhadap empal sampel. Empat sampel tersebut adalah aspal original, aspal dengan 10% recycle sand, 20% recycle sand, dan 30% recycle sand. Aspal dengan recycle sand paling banyak mempunyai suhu yang paling tinggi. Data sebaran suhu thermotical dapat dianalisis menggunakan metode tstudent dan finite difference. Analisa statistik dengan metode t-student terhadap data suhu thermotical tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penambahan recycle sand tidak mempengaruhi sufat-sifat thermotical. Metode finite difference terhadap empat sampel aspal yang mempunyai suhu tinggi akan memiliki warna yang lebih pekat pada grafik.

The thermotical temperature distribution data can be analyzed using t student and finite difference method. Analysis with method t-student to thermotical temperature data showed no significant difference. This shows that the addition of recycle sand does no affect the nature of the thermotical properties. The finite difference method of four asphalt samples show the highest temperature will have a more concentrated color on the graph.
