BHAGAVAD GITA SEBAGAI BASIS PLURALISME AGAMA DALAM PERSPEKTIF FILSAFAT PERENIAL RENe GUENON

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh landasan filosofis terhadap Bhagavad Gita serta implikasinya terhadap diskursus pluralisme agama. Penelitian ini bertitik tolak pada: pertama, masyarakat yang tidak biasa menghadapi pluralitas dan perbedaan. Kedua, penolakan dan penentangan terhadap pluralitas agama menyebabkan hadirnya konflik yang terus-menerus diproduksi dengan intensitas yang cukup padat. Ketiga, agama masih didominasi oleh defensive teologia yang theistic-oriented dan sangat kental karakter eksklusif. Keempat, kurangnya pendekatan filsafat perenial membuat persoalan pluralisme agama menjadi kehilangan sandaran teoretisnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi, interpretasi, holistika, dan refleksi. Penggunaan metode tersebut didasarkan atas permasalahan yang ada dan sebagai alat untuk mencari pemecahan masalah yang telah menjadi pertanyaan dalam rumusan masalah. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah diskursus pluralisme agama Bhagavad Gita dalam perspektif filsafat perenial Rene Guenon. Bhagavad Gita dalam diskursus filsafat perenial berupaya menghidupkan kembali universalitas dari agama-agama, yang apabila dikontekstualisasi ke dalam pembahasan pluralisme agama maka akan mendapatkan suatu pemahaman tentang adanya the Truth dan sifat agama yang inklusif, moderat, toleran, dan humanis. Penelitian ini, melalui Rene Guenon, berupaya merekonstruksi pola pluralisme agama dalam Bhagavad Gita sehingga membuat agama tidak lagi dipahami secara legal-formal saja, tetapi juga utuh dan menyeluruh, baik dimensi kulit (eksoteris) maupun dimensi substansialnya (esoteris) dengan sama sekali tidak melakukan upaya untuk menegasikan salah satunya.

This research wants to earn the philosophical foundation from Bhagavad Gita and also the implication for the next discourse about religion pluralism. This research begin from: first, society that unfamiliar with pluralism and diversity. Second, the unstoppable of conflict because a refusal and opposition with religion pluralism. Third, religion still defending the defensive teologica and theisticoriented concept that makes religion exclusive. Fourth, lack of perennial philosophy approach causes religion pluralism lose its theoretical foundation. This research uses description, interpretation, holistic, and reflection method. The use of such methods is based on existing problems and as a tool for finding the solution that has become a question in problem formulation. The results in this research is about discourse religion pluralism Bhagavad Gita from perennial philosophy Rene Guenon perspective. On the discourse about perennial philosophy, Bhagavad Gita try to bring back the universality of religion, which when contextualized into religion pluralism discussion produce a knowledge about the existance of the Truth and religion characteristic such as inclusive, moderate, tolerance, and humanistic. From Rene Guenon, this research try to reconstruct the pattern of religion pluralism in Bhagavad Gita so it will get a clear understanding about religion not only as a legal-formal, but also comprehensive, well on the exoteric dimension and esoteric dimension without try to negate one another.
