PEMBENTUKAN SIKAP GEREJA KATOLIK KEVIKEPAN DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA DALAM PLURALISME KEHIDUPAN BERAGAMA DI PROVINSI YOGYAKARTA

Dalam tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat sikap gereja katolik sebagai kelompok minorias mengalami vigilantisme oleh mayoritas dalam pluralisme kehidupan beragama. Dengan menggunakan teori pluralisme, realitas masyarakat majemuk memicu politik identitas sebagai timbulnya rasa kesadaran identitas dan mengorganisasikan diri dengan kepentingan yang dibentuk dan pilihan rasional gereja katolik dalam sikap pluralisme kehidupan beragama. Dengan metode kualitatif, penulis menghimpun data hasil wawancara langsung dengan para aktor internal gereja seperti pihak pastor gereja dan jemaat. Penulis mengikuti acara peribadatan gereja dan diskusi gereja. Penulis serta mewawancari tokoh yang aktif dalam permasalahan pluralisme dan kelompok identitas. Data yang diambil kemudian dielaborasikan dan diolah dengan sudut pandang narasumber yang berbeda-beda. Penulis mendapatkan Kevikepan Yogyakarta dalam sikap pluralisme kehidupan beragama dengan paradigma inklusif dan eksklusif. Usaha yang dilakukan kevikepan Yogyakarta diantaranya membangun iman umat, terbuka, bekerjasama, dan memahami dalam perbedaan dengan berdialog dan berinteraksi baik internal gereja maupun eksternal gereja demi kelangsungan kepentingan gereja dalam kehidupan pluralisme. Dari hal itu, gereja menentukan sikap yang tepat dalam perjalanan kehidupan masyarakat plural dengan permasalahannya.

In this paper aims to see the attitude of the Catholic church as a group of minorias have experienced vigilantism by the majority in the pluralism of religious life. based on the theory of pluralism, the reality of plural society triggers identity politics as the emergence of a sense of identity and organizes itself with the established interests and rational choice of the Catholic church in the pluralism of religious life. With qualitative methods, the authors collected data from direct interviews with internal church actors such as church pastors and congregations. The author attends church worship and church discussions. The author and interviewed active figures in the issue of pluralism and identity groups. The data taken then elaborated and processed in the perspective of different sources. The author found Kevikepan Yogyakarta in the attitude of pluralism of religious life with the exclusive and exclusive paradigm. The efforts undertaken by the Kevikepan of Yogyakarta are to build the faith of the ummah, to be open, to cooperate, and to understand in difference with dialogue and interaction both internal church and external church in the continuity of church interest in pluralism life. From that, the church determines the right attitude in the course of plural society life with its problems.
