Tipologi Situs Megalitik di Lereng Selatan Gunung Slamet (Kajian Keruangan Berdasarkan Satuan Medan)

Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur dan observasi terdapat sejumlah 33 situs megalitik tersebar di lereng selatan Gunung Slamet seperti menhir/batu tegak, dolmen/altar, batu dakon, batu lumpang, arca megalitik, punden berundak dll. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis tipologi situs megalitik di lereng selatan Gunung Slamet berdasarkan kategori/variabel tingkat kompleksitas dan luas sebaran situs dan menganalisis medan berdasarkan satuan medan berupa litologi, topografi dan sumberdaya air. Penalaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penalaran induktif dengan pendekatan keruangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah data berupa penjelasan mengenai tipe-tipe dalam tipologi situs megalitik di lereng selatan Gunung Slamet dan hubungannya dengan medan di sekitarnya. Terdapat 4 jenis tipe situs megalitik di lereng selatan Gunung Slamet, antara lain A1B1, A1B2, A2B1 dan A2B2. Masing-masing tipe memiliki hubungan dengan kondisi satuan medan yang berada di sekitar situs berada karena dalam penentuan sebuah lokasi bangunan pemujaan terdapat pertimbangan tertentu dalam penentuan lokasi untuk pendirian bangunan megalitik. Dalam pemilihan lokasi untuk permukiman maupun kegiatan sehari-hari harus memperhatikan faktor-faktor alam.

According to results of desk research and observation, there are 33 megalithic sites at southern slope of Slamet Mountain. Those are menhir/batu tegak, dolmen/altar, batu dakon, batu lumpang, arca megalitik, punden berundak dll. This research will analyze the typology of megalithic sites in southern slope of Slamet Mountain based on the variable of its complexity and widespread. Moreover it's also analyze the terrain according to its lithology, topography and water resources. The reasoning methodology used in this research is inductive reasoning with spatial approach. The result is data which explain about the type in typology of megalithic sites in southern slope of Slamet Mountain's and its correlation with its terrain. There are 4 type of megalithic sites in southern slope of Slamet Mountain, such as A1B1, A2B2, A2B1, and A2B2. Each type have correlation with the condition of environment around the site. It is because there are some consideration to decide the location for cult activities. For determine the location for living, people should pay more attention to the natural factors around them.
