Analisis Biaya Pendidikan merupakan penelitian tentang biaya pendidikan di salah satu sekolah ternama di Daerah IstimewaYogyakarta. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis biaya pendidikan di SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta yang meliputi (1) biaya pendidikan per siswa per tahun layanan Kelas Cambridge, (2) biaya pendidikan per siswa per tahun layanan Kelas OSN, (3) biaya pendidikan per siswa per tahun layanan Kelas Riset, dan (4) biaya pendidikan per siswa per tahun layanan Kelas Reguler. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis biaya pendidikan tersebut adalah Activity-Based Costing (ABC), yaitu sistem analisis biaya berdasarkan aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh suatu industri barang/jasa yang menghasilkan multi produk dalam kegiatan operasional. Sistem ini menelusuri aktivitas yang menyebabkan timbulnya biaya dengan menggunakan banyak cost driver sehingga dapat memberikan informasi biaya sesungguhnya (akurat). SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta merupakan satuan pendidikan yang mengembangkan multi talent dari siswa dengan memberikan empat macam layanan pendidikan, yaitu: layanan Kelas Cambridge, layanan Kelas OSN, layanan Kelas Riset, dan layanan Kelas Reguler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya pendidikan di SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta sebesar Rp11.869.168,00 per siswa per tahun, biaya pendidikan layanan Kelas Cambridge Rp12.411.120,00 per siswa per tahun, biaya pendidikan layanan Kelas OSN Rp12.145.221,00 per siswa per tahun, biaya pendidikan layanan Kelas Riset Rp11.888.080,00 per siswa per tahun, biaya pendidikan layanan Kelas Reguler Rp11.689.128,00 per siswa per tahun.

Cost Analysis of Education is a study of the cost of education in one of renowned schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the cost of education at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta which includes (1) the cost of education per student per year of Cambridge-class service, (2) the cost of education per student per year of OSN-class service, (3) the cost of education per student per year of Research-class service, and (4) the cost of education per student per year of regular-class service. The method used for the analysis of the cost of such education is the Activity-Based Costing (ABC), a cost analysis system based on the activities carried out by an industrial entity on goods/services that generate multiple products in its operations. The system searches activities that cause costs by using many cost drivers that can provide accurate cost information. SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta is an educational unit that develops its students' multi-talents by providing four kinds of educational services, namely: Cambridge-class service, OSN-class service, Research-class service, and regular-class service. The results show that the cost of education at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta is Rp11,869,168.00 per student per year, the cost of Cambridge-class service is Rp12,411,120.00 per student per year, the cost of OSN-class service is Rp12,145,221,00 per student per year, the cost of Riset-class service is Rp11,888,080.00 per student per year, the cost of a regular-class service is Rp11,689,128.00 per student per year.
