Strategi Pengembangan Ekowisata Hutan Mangrove Kulon Progo

Kondisi Eksisting hutan mangrove Kulon Progo berdasarkan elemen penawaran ekowisata terdiri dari tripel A (atraksi, amenitas, aksesibilitas) dan identifikasi fasilitas & infrastruktur yang tersedia dalam salah satu kegiatan studi kelayakan proyek ekowisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kondisi eksisting hutan Mangrove Kulon Progo dan menemukan strategi pengembangan ekowisata hutan Magrove Kulon Progo. Dari hasil pembahasan kondisi eksisting tersebut dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif yang kemudian ditentukan analisis SWOT (Strong, Weakness, Opportunity & Threat). Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor Internal dari pengembangan kawasan wisata hutan mangrove Kulon Progo, yaitu atraksi alam dan budaya sangat perlu untuk dilestarikan terutama di dusun Pasir Mendit dan Pasir Kadilangu yang berbatasan langsung dengan sungai Bogowonto. Terdapat faktor hambatan berupa terbatasnya pemandu wisata, akses transportasi menuju obyek wisata yang terbatas, dan kebersihan toilet perlu menjadi prioritas hutan mangrove Kulonprogo tersebut. Faktor Eksternal hutan mangrove Kulon Progo Pemberian pelatihan memandu wisata diharapkan akan membantu wisatawan mengakses informasi mengenai hutan mangrove. Toilet yang digunakan wisatawan perlu ditingkatkan kebersihannya supaya dapat memberikan kenyamanan bagi pengunjung dalam menjaga kebersihannya.

Existing condition of Kulon Progo mangrove forests based on ecotourism supply element consists of triple A (attraction, amenitas, accessibility) and identification of facilities & infrastructure available in one of the feasibility study of ecotourism project. This study aims to find out the picture of the existing condition of Mangrove forests, Kulon Progo and find the development of ecotourism strategy for Magrove forests, Kulon Progo. From the results on the discussion of the existing conditions were analyzed by qualitative descriptive which then determined SWOT analysis (Strong, Weakness, Opportunity & Threat). Data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the internal factors of the development at mangrove forests, Kulon Progo area, which is a natural and cultural attraction is very necessary to be conserved, especially in the hamlet of Pasir Mendit and Pasir Kadilangu which directly conterminous to Bogowonto river. There are obstacles in the form of limited tour guides, limited transportation access to attractions, and cleanliness of toilets should be a priority of the mangrove forests, Kulonprogo. External Factors of mangrove forests, Kulon Progo providing tourist guide training is expected to help tourists access information about mangrove forests. Toilets used by tourists need to be improved hygiene in order to provide comfort for visitors in maintaining cleanliness.
