Perancangan Sistem Informasi Survei ISSLA (Indonesian Survey of Student Learning Activities) Tingkat Nasional

2018 | Tesis | S2 MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN TINGGIISSLA (Indonesian Survey of Student Learning Activities) adalah sebuah survei yang dilaksanakan untuk menengarai sejauh mana proses belajar dan mengajar terlaksana secara aktif dan mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa di dalamnya. Survei ini ditujukan kepada mahasiswa program S1 tahun pertama dan tahun terakhir. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi survei ISSLA sesuai dengan kebutuhan stakeholders yang terlibat dalam survei. Metode pengembangan sistem informasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sekuensial linier yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan model proses bisnis, analisis kebutuhan perangkat lunak sistem informasi dan tahapan desain. Tahap pengembangan instrumen dimulai dari merumuskan kegiatan dan proses bisnis survey ISSLA, proses perancangan sistem infromasi dan output berupa desain use case diagram, desain antar muka dan desain relasi tabel. Selanjutnya, melakukan FGD (Focus Group Discussion) pada tim ISSLA yang bertujuan memperoleh informasi terkait hasil desain serta peluang peningkatan pengembangan sistem survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi survei yang dirancang telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang diharapkan berdasarkan pada user requirement list dengan fitur untuk admin, surveyer dan responden.
ISSLA (Indonesian Survey of Student Learning Activities) aims to identify how effective is the process of teaching and learning activities and to enhance the engagement of the student in the learning activities. This survey is addressed to undergraduate program of the first year and senior year student. The purpose of this study is to design the survey information system for ISSLA according to the needs of stakeholders involved in the survey. The method for developing the information system used in this research was linear sequential method consist of need analysis phase, designing the model of the business process, analysing the need of information system software and designing stage. The development phase of the instrument starts from formulating the activities and business process of ISSLA survey, design process of information system and output in the form of use case diagram design, interface design and table relation design. Furthermore, the FGD (Focus Group Discussion) with the ISSLA team aims to obtain information related to the design improvement as well as the increased opportunities for the development of the survey system. The results show that the survey information system designed has been in accordance with the expected needs based on the user requirement list with features for the admin, surveyors and respondents.
