Penerimaan Ibu Terhadap Masalah Emosi Dan Perilaku Anak Cerebral Palsy Di Griya Fisio Bunda Novy Yogyakarta

Latar Belakang: Masalah emosi dan perilaku merupakan kondisi ikutan yang sering muncul pada anak Cerebral Palsy (CP). Sedangkan proses penerimaan ibu juga sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi anak tersebut. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali secara mendalam penerimaan ibu terhadap masalah emosi dan perilaku anak dengan CP di Griya Fisio Bunda Novy. Metode : Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan wawancara terhadap empat partisipan. Data diambil di Griya Fisio Bunda Novy dengan melakukan screening terlebih dahulu anak cerebral pasly yang beresiko memiliki permasalahan emosi dan perilaku, kemudian dilakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap ibunya. Hasil: Penelitian mendapatkan 7 tema utama, yaitu: persepsi tentang CP, faktor penghambat dan pendukung melakukan pemeriksaan dan terapi, masalah emosional, gangguan perilaku, hiperaktivitas dan proses penerimaan ibu terhadap masalah emosi dan perilaku anak CP. Kesimpulan: Ibu yang memiliki anak dengan CP awalnya memiliki tahap proses penerimaan yang berbeda, hingga sampai pada tahap acceptence.

Background : Emotional and behavioral problems are the comorbidity that often appear in children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and will affect in the process of acceptance of the mother. Objective: This study aims to explore the acceptance of mother to emotional and behavioral problems of children with CP at Griya Fisio Bunda Novy. Methods: This was a qualitative study which employed four participants. data collection was done at Griya Fisio Bunda Novy by screening first the children with CP who are at risk of having emotional and behavioral problems then conducted in-depth interviews to her mother. Results: the results indicated that 7 main themes: perceptions of CP, inhibiting and supporting factors of the examination and therapy, emotional problems, behavioral disorders, hyperactivity and the process of mothers acceptance of emotional and behavioral problems of children with CP. Conclusion: Mothers who have children with CP initially have different stages of admission process, to the stage of acceptence.
