This research aims to find out the implementation of Indonesian Notary Associations Honorary Councils Regulation Number 1 Year 2017 on the fairness limit of deed creation on daily basis for Notary in the city of Yogyakarta and to find out the prevention effort by Yogyakarta Regions Honorary Council regarding the violation on the regulation. Such matter is an interesting research subject because the aforementioned regulation is new and the implemention is not exactly effective in Yogyakarta. The nature of this research is descriptive research. This type of research is empirical normative by using literature and field research that is reviewed through primary and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained through interviews with respondents and resource persons. The data are analyzed qualitatively and presented in descriptive form. The results of this study states that the implementation of Indonesian Notary Associations Honorary Councils Regulation Number 1 Year 2017 on the fairness limit of deed creation on daily basis for Notary in the city of Yogyakarta has not run effectively, in addition there are pros and contra in the notary related to the issuance of restrictions on the deed. To the actions and efforts undertaken by the regional honor council so far only the supervisors in coordination with the regional supervisory assemblies are limited to oral reprimands only, there has been no strict sanction on the notaries that have been proven to violate the fairness limits. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi Peraturan Dewan Kehormatan Pusat Ikatan Notaris Indonesia Nomor 1 Tahun 2017 tentang batas kewajaran jumlah pembuatan akta perhari bagi Notaris di Kota Yogyakarta dan mengetahui upaya pencegahan terhadap pelanggaran peraturan tersebut oleh Dewan Kehormatan Daerah Kota Yogyakarta. Hal ini sangat menarik untuk di kaji karena peraturan Dewan Kehormatan Pusat tersebut merupakan peraturan yang baru dan tentunya pelaksanaanya belum tentu berjalan dengan efektif di Kota Yogyakarta Sifat penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu normatif empiris dengan menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan yang ditelaah melalui data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer adalah data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan responden dan narasumber. Data-data tersebut dianalisis secara kualitatif dan dipaparkan dalam bentuk deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa pelaksanaan Peraturan Dewan Kehormatan Pusat Ikatan Notaris Indonesia Nomor 1 Tahun 2017 tentang batas kewajaran jumlah pembuatan akta perhari bagi notaris di Kota Yogyakarta belum berjalan secara efektif, selain itu terdapat pro dan kontra dikalangan Notaris terkait dikeluarkanya pembatasan akta tersebut. Terhadap upaya yang dilakukan oleh Dewan Kehormatan Daerah sejauh ini pengawasanya berkoordinasi dengan Majelis Pengawas Daerah sebatas teguran lisan saja, belum ada sanksi yang tegas bagi notaris-notaris yang terbukti melakukan pelanggaran batas kewajaran.
