Urban Dualisme Di Kawasan Ambarrukmo Plaza

Kawasan Ambarrukmo Plaza (Amplaz) merupakan kawasan pusat perbelanjaan modern di Kabupaten Sleman Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang menarik perhatian para pelaku sektor informal untuk berkegiatan di sekitarnya, sehingga terjadi urban dualisme antara sektor formal dan informal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi wujud urban dualisme dan ketergantungan antara Kawasan Amplaz dan sektor informal di sekitarnya dalam tiga tinjauan yaitu aspek spasial, ekonomi, dan sosial. Aspek spasial ditinjau dalam hal penggunaan lahan, aksesibilitas, dan bentuk sebaran lokasi. Aspek ekonomi ditinjau dalam pendapatan/omzet, sedangkan aspek sosial ditinjau pada tingkat pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui wujud urban dualisme dan hubungan saling ketergantungan antara kegiatan Ambarrukmo Plaza dan Sektor informal di sekitarnya. Kasus ini diteliti dengan metode penelitian studi kasus yaitu multikasus holistik tipe eksploratif dengan pendekatan induktif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap pelaku sektor formal dan informal terkait kegiatan sektor tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran Amplaz diiringi luasan, serta bentuk sebaran lokasi sektor informal membentuk pola mengelompok (focus aglomeration) dengan dominasi fungsi ruang sebagai warung dan jasa area parkir. Aspek ekonomi menunjukkan sektor infomal memiliki kecenderungan pendapatan dibawah Upah Minimum Kota (UMK), sedangkan pegawai Kawasan Amplaz berpendapatan di atas UMK. Aspek sosial menunjukkan tingkat pendidikan untuk pegawai Kawasan Ambarrukmo Plaza minimal berijazah Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), sedangkan untuk pekerja sektor informal di sekitarnya maksimal berijazah SMA.

Ambarrukmo Plaza (Amplaz) is a modern shopping center in Sleman District of Yogyakarta Special Province that attracts informal sector actors to engage in surrounding activities, resulting in urban dualism between the formal and informal sectors. This study aims to identify the urban form of dualism and dependence between Amplaz Region and the surrounding informal sector in three views, namely spatial, economic, and social aspects. Spatial aspects are reviewed in terms of land use, accessibility, and location distribution. The economic aspect is reviewed in earnings / turnover, while the social aspects are reviewed at the level of education. This study aims to determine the form of urban dualism and the relationship of interdependence between Ambarrukmo Plaza activities and the surrounding informal sector. This case is researched with case study method research that is multikasus holistic explorative type with qualitative inductive approach. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation to formal and informal sector actors related to sector activities. The results showed that the presence of Amplaz was accompanied by the extent, as well as the form of distribution of the location of the informal sector to form a focusing pattern with the dominance of the function of the space as a warung and parking area services. The economic aspect shows that the infomal sector has a revenue trend below the City Minimum Wage, whereas the employees of Amplaz Region are above City Minimum Wage. The social aspect shows the level of education for employees of Ambarrukmo Plaza area is at least certified High School , while for the informal sector workers in the surrounding maximum of high school certificate.
