ANALISIS KELAYAKAN, PENDAPATAN, DAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI TINGKAT PENDAPATAN PETERNAK SAPI POTONG DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha, tingkat pendapatan dan keuntungan, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat pendapatan peternak sapi potong. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 76 orang peternak dari Kabupaten Sleman dan Kabupaten Bantul. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kelayakan usaha meliputi Net Present Value (NPV), Return/Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Payback Period (PP); analisis pendapatan dan keuntungan; dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa (1) usaha peternakan sapi potong di Kabupaten Bantul dan Kabupaten Sleman layak untuk diusahakan. (2) Tingkat pendapatan dan keuntungan usaha peternak sapi potong di Kabupaten Bantul lebih besar dibandingkan dengan Kabupaten Sleman. (3) Hasil uji R2 untuk Kabupaten Bantul menunjukkan bahwa 96,2 % faktor dependen tingkat pendapatan dapat dijelaskan oleh kesembilan variabel independen dan sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel diluar model. Untuk Kabupaten Sleman menunjukkan hasil uji R2 95,5 % faktor dependen tingkat pendapatan dapat dijelaskan oleh kesembilan variabel independen dan sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel diluar model. Hasil Uji F menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pendapatan. Hasil Uji t menunjukkan bahwa jumlah tenaga kerja, motivasi peternak, harga bibit, harga pakan, dan harga obat-obatan secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kedelai.

This research aims to determine the business feasibility, the income rate and profit, as well as the factors that affect the income rate of beef cattlemen. The number of respondents in this study were 76 farmers from Sleman and Bantul Regency. This research uses business feasibility analysis including NPV, R/C Ratio, IRR and PP; income and profit analysis; and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that (1) the business of beef cattle husbandry in Bantul and Sleman Regency is feasible to cultivate. (2) The rate of income and profit of beef cattlemen in Bantul Regency is bigger than in Sleman Regency. (3) The result of R2 test for Bantul Regency shows that 96.2% of the dependent factors of the income rate can be explained by the nine independent variables. For the Sleman Regency, it shows the R2 test result in which 95.5% of the dependent factors of the income rate can be explained by the nine independent variables and the rest is explained by the variables outside the model. F test results show that the independent variables simultaneously affect the income rate. The t test results show that the number of labor, the motivation of the cattlemen, the price of seeds, the price of feed, and the price of the medicines significantly affect the income rate.
