Laporan Tugas Akhir ini menjelaskan tentang proses pemetaan suatu area yang menghasilkan informasi data spasial, baik itu data tinggi dan data planimetris. Tujuan utama dari pemetaan itu sendiri adalah untuk memberikan dan menyajikan suatu informasi berbasis spasial dan keruangan dari suatu daerah agar diperoleh peta yang baik dan benar. Tahapan yang dilakukan adalah pembuatan kerangka kontrol horizontal dan vertikal serta pengukuran detil planimetris dan titik tinggi, penggambaran peta situasi secara digital. Untuk proses pengukuran kerangka kontrol horisontal peta menggunakan metode poligon tertutup sedangakan pengukuran kerangka control vertikal menggunakan metode ekstrapolasi koordinat kutub dan trigonometri. Hasil akhir dari pekerjaan pemetaan ini adalah peta situasi yang menyajikan informasi data spasial pada peta skala 1:500 yang berlokasi di Dusun Degan I rt 80 rw 39 dan Degan II rt 83 rw 43 Desa Banjararum, Kecamatan Kalibawang, Kabupaten Kulon Progo, Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.

The final report describes the process of mapping an area that produces spatial data information, elevation data and the data planimetric. The main purpose of the mapping itself is to provide and present a spatial and spatial-based information from an area in order toobtain a good and correct map. Steps being taken is the developing of horizontal and vertical control framework as well as detailed planimetric measurements and the high point, the depiction of the situation maps digitally. For the measurement process control framework horizontal polygon map using closed while the measurement of the vertical control framework using extrapolation methods polar coordinates and trigonometry. The end result of this mapping work is a map of the present situation of spatial data information on a map scale of 1: 500, located in the hamlet of Degan I rt 80 rw 39 and rt 83 rw 43 Degan II Hamlet, Village outs, Kalibawang, Kulon Progo regency, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
