Hubungan Jenis Paparan Promosi Susu Formula dengan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif

Promosi susu formula pada bayi merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menyebabkan kegagalan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara jenis paparan promosi susu formula dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain cross sectional. Populasi terjangkau adalah ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 6-11 bulan di posyandu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Jaten II Karanganyar pada tanggal 12 September � 2 November 2017. Pengambilan sampel dengan cara simple random sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 92 ibu. Pengambilan dan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square test dan analisis regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 40 ibu (43,48%) terpapar promosi media dan paparan langsung. Terdapat 66 ibu (71,74%) tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif. Terdapat hubungan antara jenis paparan promosi susu formula dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p-value=0,047). Hasil analisis regresi logistik ibu yang terpapar promosi media dan paparan promosi langsung berisiko 2,636 (CI 95%:0,830-8,373) kali lebih besar tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif dibandingkan dengan ibu yang hanya terpapar promosi langsung, dan 4,667 (CI 95%: 1,301-16,736) kali lebih besar dibandingkan ibu yang hanya terpapar promosi media. Jenis paparan promosi susu formula merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menggagalkan ASI eksklusif.
Exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Indonesia is still far from the government's target. Formula feeding promotion for 0 - 6 months old babies is one of the factor that may lead the failure of exclusive breastfeeding. This research was aimed to find out the correlation between type of formula promotion exposure and exclusive breastfeeding. This research utilized cross sectional design. The population was mothers with 6 - 11 months old babies who have visited posyandu in Puskesmas Jaten II Karanganyar region in the period of September 12 - November 2, 2017. The sample was taken by simple random sampling of totally 92 mothers. Data collection using questionnaires. Data analysis was done by chi-square test and logistic regression analysis. The result showed that 40 mothers (43,48%) were exposed by both media and direct promotion. There were 66 mothers (71,74%) who did not exclusively breastfed. There was a correlation between the type of formula promotion exposure and exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0,047). Logistic regression analysis showed that mothers whom exposed by both media and direct promotion were 2,636 (CI 95%: 0,830-8,373) more likely not to do exclusive breastfeeding compared to mothers whom exposed only by direct promotion, and 4,676 (CI 95%: 1,301-16,736) more likely not to do exclusive breastfeeding compared to mothers whom exposed only by media. The type of formula promotion exposure is one of the factor that may lead the failure of exclusive breastfeeding.
