THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE TOWARD THE COMPANY VALUE WITH GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AS MODERATING VARIABLE (Empirical Study on the Company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2015)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kinerja keuangan terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan menguji efek moderasi Good Corporate Governance (GCG) terhadap hubungan antara kinerja keuangan dengan nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) pada tahun 2011-2015. Kinerja keuangan dihitung menggunakan Return on Assets (ROA), nilai perusahaan dengan Tobin's Q, dan GCG dihitung menggunakan skor GCG oleh IICG. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua perusahaan yang terdaftar di IDX pada 2011-2015. Sampel yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling yang menghasilkan 9 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa ROA secara signifikan mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Sedangkan, implementasi GCG memperkuat hubungan antara kinerja keuangan dan nilai perusahaan.

This research aims to examine the effect of financial performance on the company value, and examine the moderating effect of good corporate governance (GCG) to the relationship between financial performance and company value at the company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2011-2015. Financial performance is measured by Return on Assets (ROA), company value is measured by Tobin's Q, and GCG is measured by the GCG score by IICG. The population of this research is all companies listed in IDX in 2011-2015. The sample was chosen by purposive sampling method which resulted in 9 companies as sample. The results show that ROA significantly affects the company value. Also, GCG implementation rating strengthens the relationship between financial performance and company value.
