TINJAUAN PERAN GURU, BUDAYA VIRTUAL, DAN PENYESUAIAN SOSIALDALAM KESEHATAN MENTALSISWA SMP “X” YOGYA

2014 | Skripsi |This research was conducted to examine the relationship between teacher‟s role and social adjustment towards mental health at 7 th grade student of SMP “X” Yogyakarta. The 1 st hypothesis is that there is no difference between aspect of teacher‟s role towards mental health. The 2 nd hypothesis is that there is positive correlation between social adjustment and mental health. Data was collected from 120 students and 138 students. Data was collected using teacher‟s role interview, teacher‟s role questionnaire, social adjustment scale, and mental health scale. Data was analyzed using Anova & The Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. Result shows that there is significance difference between aspects of teacher‟s role towards student mental health and social adjustment had a positive correlation with mental health (r = 0,687; p= 0,000). Social adjustment gave 47,1% effective contribution for mental health (r 2 = 0,471). Keywords: teacher‟s role, virtual culture, social adjustment, mental health.
