The aim of the study was to examine the relationship between stigma toward mental illness and nursing students’ interest to be psychiatric nurse. Data were collected from 138 undergraduate nursing students in Gadjah Mada University. Instruments for data collection were Standardized Stigmatization Questionnaire part 2 and Psychiatric Nursing Interest Scale. The Pearson Product-Moment correlation was used to analyze the data.
