he rapid development of construction industry in Indonesia resulted the increasing demands of productivity to the workers, disastrous consequences of the increased risk of work. Productivity performance must be supported by safety and health in a way to civilize the worker safety mindset. This is because the safety and health is a form of efficiency. The main causes of occupational injuries among workers less blindly towards safety regulations, unsafe behavior, and lack of discipline in the use of personal protective equipment. Safety mindset is a deep understanding of trust, belief and awareness of individuals to adhere safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment. This study aims to obtain the relationship between safety mindset with compliance of regulations to use personal protective equipment in construction workers. Subjects research is 73 construction start workers of the project Best Western Star Hotel and Apartments Semarang. Researchers used safety mindset and compliance of regulations to use personal protective equipment scale’s by Likert measurement models.
