PENGARUH LATIHAN YOGA TERHADAP REGULASI EMOSI

2012 | Skripsi |The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of yoga training among emotion regulation. The hypothesis of this research was the training of yoga had an influence in emotion regulation. This research used quasi-experiment “pre-test post-test control group design”. The subject was eight university students of Faculty Psychology UGM 2010/2011 as the experiment group and nine university students of Faculty Psychology UGM 2010/2011 as the control group. Subjects in the experimental group were intervention with yoga training by a facilitator instruction. After the intervention is completed, the experimental group and control group filled out a posttest. The data were analyzed using Anova Mixed Design. The results showed that the experimental group’s emotion regulation score was higher than control group. There were also have a significant differences in emotion regulation score after than before intervention. This research concluded that yoga training have influence in increase emotion regulation.
