The aim of the study was to examine the correlation between extraversion and motivation of updating Facebook status in adolescents. It was hypothesized that extraversion correlated to motivation of updating Facebook status in adolescent. The research data were collected using Scale of Extraversion and Scale of Motivation of Updating Facebook Status. Eighty six students of Faculty of Psychology, Gadjah Mada University (18- 22 years old) were analyzed using Product Moment’s Pearson Correlation analysis and resulted a significant and positive correlation between extraversion and motivation of updating Facebook status in adolescents (R = 0.252; p = 0.019, p
