Self-concept is the way one perceives oneself according to the evaluation on oneself. It is determined by one’s parenting style. The study aimed to know the relationship between democratic parenting style with self concept. The SDQ 1 Scale ( Self Description Questionnaire 1) and Democratic Parenting Style Scale were used. The subjects were 130 fourth-graders aged 9-11 years old.
