HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERSEPSI PARENTING DENGAN KONSEP DIRI PADA REMAJA TENGAH

The purpose of this research is to find out the positive correlation between parenting perception and self concept among middle adolescent. The participant of this study are 88 student grade XI from SMA N 6 Yogyakarta, live with parents and parents marriage status that still intact, if single parent it’s not caused of divorce but because of dead either of parents. Data collected by using 28 items of self concept scale and 41 items of perception parenting. Data analyzed by using Pearson’s product moment. The result of this research indicated that the correlation between parenting perception and self concept have significant positive correlation ((rxy = 0,690, p = 0,000) among middle adolescent. The coefficient of determinant is 0,476 indicating that parenting perception result 47,6% effective contribution for self concept among the middle adolescent.
