The research aimed to know the relationship between attachment to mother on collage freshman girls with quality of personality based on Suryomentaram’s concept. The hypothesis of this research is there is positive correlation between attachment to mother and the quality of personality based on Suryomentaram’s concept. The research data are collected by using two scales; attachment to mother’s scale and quality of personality based on Suryomentaram’s concept scale.The higher the attachment to mother, the higher quality of personality based on Suryomentaram’s concept on collage freshman girls.The research subject are the 79 collage freshman girls in Yogyakarta, 17-21 years old. The collected data are processed by using Product Moment’s Pearson correlation analysis. The results of the Product Moment correlation analysis indicate that there is a significant and positive correlation between attachment to mother on collage freshman girls with quality of personality based on Suryomentaram’s concept (R = 0,320 ; p
