UJI VALIDITAS KONSTRUK BIG FIVE INVENTORY DENGAN PENDEKATAN ANALISIS FAKTOR KONFIRMATORI
DANU DWI ATMOKO,
2011 | Skripsi |The aim of this study was to examine the consistency of big five personality theory in Indonesia. The instruments used as a measure of the big five personality is the Big Five Inventory (BFI) (John, Donahue, & Kentle, 1991). The procedure used is to test the construct validity of the Big Five Inventory (John, et al, 1991). Confirmatory factor analysis approach is used to test the construct validity of BFI. Subjects who were included in this study amounted to 356 people, with the number of men as many as 111 people and the number of female subjects as many as 245 people. The result of structural equation model analysis showed that the five-factor model of personality theory does not fit with the data ((χ2) = 3227.34, df = 902, p = 0.00, and RMSEA = 0085). The results of this study also proved that the big five theory is not consistent in Indonesia.
